Checked in, went to our room, turned on the light in the bathroom, Cockroach as big as my thumb on the floor. That pretty much set the tone for the stay. Roach free would be basic hotel service I would think, regardless of price. Beds were comfortable...

Bed was very comfortable. Room was nice. Older but clean. Good breakfast.

We had a very nice stay for two nights. We are two female cousins traveling together, one with mobility issues. We requested a ground floor room if there is no elevator and they gave us one. We were able to park right in front of the room. The room was very comfortable and clean. The daily breakfast is nice. They had eggs, breakfast meat, biscuits and sausage gravy, fresh fruit, a variety of pastries and bread, yogurt, and a waffle maker. Most importantly, they have good coffee! They have a pool on the back side of the motel. I tried to swim the first night and the water was too warm. It's not their fault because it's sitting in the Florida sun during the day, which heats it up. Amenities we did not use are an exercise room, business center, and guest laundry.

The hotel staff was incredible. Very friendly and helpful, check in was a breeze. They had a printed warning about a city wide water boil notice but we really underestimated how awful the water would be. This isn't the hotels fault at all, but it is definitely something to consider if going to Apalachicola anytime soon. (As of June 2025) The beds were so comfortable and my kids loved the breakfast.

Overall the trip was good, except the initial check-in person was untruthfull about a vacant room being available at the time we checked in before it got busy. I went back after the shift change and received the ground floor room, requested earlier. One of the ice machines was broken, so ice was only available before other people arrived. After that there was no more ice for the next 2 days...

First night, fridge had to fixed or replaced Tv picture kept blinking wildly could not watch It was fixed The pool had green slime on bottom and sides in the deep end but this seemed to either get treated or cleaned because when checked on our 3rd day it looked somewhat different Also first night killed roach bug at foot of bed on the floor Also we had a strong odor of some kind of adhesive We were told replacing bath tubs around our room but it wasn’t harmful Was very strong and had to run exhaust fan with door open to clear the odor somewhat out of the room Can honestly say we were very disappointed with this BW Will not stay at this location again

This is an older property that is very clean and well maintained by the staff and owner. Staff is helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice personnel

Our room smelled like a combination of something dirty and heavily perfumed carpet cleaning solution. Most hotels have pulled out the old stale carpet for a reason.

This is an older hotel. But let me be clear it is very well maintained. It may not have inside hallways or an elevator, but the rooms are spotless, front desk personnel were great. Bed was very comfortable. GREAT JOB TO ALL

It was very quiet, the rooms were a decent size, and they allow pets
