deceive guests. doing business dishonestly.

I was booked this hotel in 12-13 for one night only. I booked this hotel by app and my payment is a success already. But when we arrived in the hotel,we are arrived in the midnight. Staff of hotel,maybe the receptionist with no greeting no smilling and I saw a bit rude. He is a little fat with brown skin refuse us to check in. We are so surprised and he just say “No,u can ask your money back when you arrive in your country”. Oh my god, we are stressed, because you know. We just travelling 2 people only and we are ladies and in this midnight condition. We asking him why he refused us to check in,he just only said “we have no agreement anymore,u can get another hotel” And a few minute he ask our passport then he said “i will check tomorrow morning, if ok, so ok. But if not ok you have to pay” but we don't give our passport. Because he will use our passport for guarantee and we have to pay for double. In the end,he asking us how many days we will stay. “Then I tell him,i just want to stay till tomorrow morning 4am we will check out”. Then he say”ok you can stay. Tomorrow you must check out at 4am” I don't know why he give us the room,because he say I will check tomorrow morning. Finally we stay in this hotel till 4am. But aint comfortable to stay in this hotel,because the room is different with we booked before. And also our mood is not feeling good to enjoy this hotel.im sorry to say but this is very” bad. Beside no hot drink water provide other was good. Slightly away from main road.

Awful receptionist it’s bad way If we use free pick up from the airport need to use the service with their transport.... so let’s say not free pick up ..!!! Don’t lie with other customers and one more thing she speak so bad with the customers ..!!!

Location is ok, located in the middle of the tourist area, and few meters away form the market. The room was big and spacious, and the sheets are clean. AC is doing good, plus there's an electric fan too. Our room has a veranda and a bath tub and there's a small swimming pool but it was dirty. They aren't cleaning the pool, and the restrooms on the ground floor. Now let's talk about the service: it was a service! I emailed the hotel to notify them about our late check in, and they acknowledged it, but to our surprise, our room was given to other guests. They claim that our booking is not showing on their system/computer, plus they were claiming that their computer isn't working. They weren't able to provide us the room that we booked, not until on our second night of stay. Technically, we only used their room for less than 24hrs, but paid (in advance) for a 2-night stay. They failed to address our concern, the owner referred us back to travel agent, because according to him, he has nothing to do with the 1 night refund that we we're asking. Now, I will be emailing travel agent, and they should do something about it. Another negative point is, we booked for a room with free pick up but as expected, they failed to deliver. One week before our arrival, I emailed the hotel about this free pick up and the details about it, but after he acknowledged my first email, I got no reply about the free pick up question. Very bad service!

The room is awesome. But the water on the shower runs very slow.

A nice people here, cheap, near market, suitable for backpacker, and has a swimming pool

When it comes to this hostel, it’s all about the location. The hostel was only 5 minutes of walk away from the center of Siem Reap, pretty convenient. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, they happily arrange a bike for me to rent for my second and third day in the hostel. Amenities though, were very basic, and of course it was justifiable by the price. The pool was a nice as the addition to the whole things.
