Clean rooms, friendly staff, first time staying here. Recommended for those looking for an affordable hotel. The surrounding area is easy to find, easy to buy food, and close to a mini mart.

Every time I visit Kuching, I always stay at Hotel 98. The service is friendly and excellent, the hotel is clean, the air conditioning is cool, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. It's also close to the waterfront, about a 10-minute walk away.

Overall, it's okay. The mattress is dirty, meaning it's full of bedbugs. My child and I were itchy while sleeping. The sheets looked white, clean, and odorless. Please pay attention to the cleanliness of the mattress.

My advice after showering is wet, don't have a mat, there's no kettle for hot water, there's no rubbish bin in the toilet, there's no tissue on the table, if possible there's a towel, that's my suggestion and I've also stayed twice at Hotel 98, thank you.

1 The room is very clean, the air conditioner is cold, the TV is new and connected to Netflix, 1 more room is the same, only the TV is not connected to wifi and can't get Netflix, and the floor is super dusty, it looks like it's just been renovated and not cleaned, asking to move rooms can't be because it's full of sadness, but the atmosphere comfortable for a sgni worth price.
