Gymn and facilities excellent. Very friendly reception upon arrival and we asked for a quieter room and were provided with that. Left alone until we went out each day and room replenished and clean when back.

Comfortable large bedroom. Dinner at restaurant was comparable to any fine dining but in a relaxed atmosphere. The only drawback was the lack of an experienced bar staff.

Very clean and comfortable. Inside was well maintained. The only criticism was the outside such as balcony needed some maintenance and updating

Wonderful pool and spa overlooking a Victorian walled garden. Restful and very elegant.

Pool was great and had long enough opening hours for kids unlike many other spas. Bathrooms in the lodge could have been cleaner. Very convenient location for visiting the area.

Lovely stay here - decent spa facilities, though we felt the pool could be cleaner... however it was easter school holidays and seemed busy. The hotel staff were all very helpful, and let us check-in early! We did not pay extra for breakfast or dinner, but the coffees we had here were also very nice. Gym was well-equipped with everything you could want for a decent workout, and not too busy at all considering they offer memberships external to the hotel. Overall, the location of this hotel was great, and very convenient to get around cornwall. Would stay again!

Room was lovely, clean, spacious and modern with a beautiful view of the garden. The food was delicious both dinner and breakfast. The buffet breakfast was the best I've had. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice spa area with good showers in the changing room. Very happy, would stay again.

It’s a great place, feels a bit special, relaxing, good location, great spa and pool, nice food, good bar, accommodation was lovely. Going out of season was a great idea too, less expensive, less traffic, easy parking. EV charging in the car park too. Shhhh don’t tell too many people 😉

We stayed in a lodge and it was very spacious and clean. We used the spa which was nice and clean but the main part that will stick with me was the staff in the bar and restaurant. We had afternoon tea on the first day and a bar lunch on our second. Both times, with different staff, they couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We had a good laugh with them all while having a few drinks without them being over indulgent. Would highly recommend The Cornwall to anyone. Great break and perfect service

Nothing to complain about at all, friendly team (bar particularly!), the spa was great (had a fab massage from, I think, Amy). Mildly cold overnight (this could well have been me not understanding the heating system). First choice to stay in St Austell for me.

We stayed in one of the lodges. Was the perfect mix of hotel amenities and privacy. Was a home away from home, with breakfast on the balcony each morning in the sunshine.

Lovely restful. Could have provided a “long life soya yogurt or some sort of GF cereal. However chef was most helpful with prepping a hot breakfast .

Overall a lovely weekend. Just the ticket to stop. Recommend to anyone who needs to have a relaxing time.

Very relaxing, lovely spa facilities, great quiet location

The breakfast menu was fine but the meal was spread between three rooms with the hot food in one and the cold food in another. All of the public rooms had a form of jazz played quite loudly over the speaker system you couldn't escape it.
