The room smells old, damp and of dog. When asked bout the smell of the room, they said to open a window. They sprayed disinfectant spray in the room to make it smell clean.

Property was basic, but it was value for money

Bathroom all the taps leaked . Needs a qualified plumber to fixs the leaks.Door of room 3 was jamming. Noisy to open and close

The door to the room had to use force, lots of force to open and close the door. Towels were unclean stained from past use. The room was run down rusted, the lounge was uncomfortable and you sank into it, could only sit in it for a few minutes before you get back pain. Overall happy to leave in the morning.

Staff claimed I damaged a downpipe reversing into parking space. We didn't hear or feel a bump. Manager.was going to check his cctv and advise us. So far have heard nothing. We are away from home for 8 weeks and would appreciate a email from him. Ken Willick.

Outside door to my allocated room was broken and could not be secured. Replacement room had non working air con broken shower and detached toilet seat. Only one of two bedside lights worked. Desperately in need of maintenance but reception was friendly and welcoming. Definitely can’t recommend.

The door didn’t lock, had been kicked in too many times. Was an awful homeless village and we did not sleep a wink. Everything was filthy, outdated and broken. Cracked tiles in shower, broken bathroom door. Filthy couch. Plastic chairs for dining setting and pillows filthy. Gross- abort

internet didn't work nor did the tv very ordinary place

The property manger refused to refund my in-advance payment when I was unable to use the room because the airline cancelled my afternoon flight to get there at short notice, despite phoning the establishment and informing them as soon as I had been told at the airport - while waiting to board the plane - that there was no flight. So, no flight, no arrival, but communication made with the Excelsior that the room could be rebooked for someone else, still no refund.

Early check in was no problem with staff being very helpful

Got whatvyou oaud for. No frills but not expected. Would stay there again. Good value for nightly tariff.

The property is close to the town centre that you can walk

Not in the best condition. It was much noisier than I thought it would be with people banging doors, and traffic in the street, but it was peak season, so the hotel was full.

It's really rundown and has had little or no maintenance for many years. Reception staff had less personality than Siri. Chipped tiles, leaky taps, broken lights,ismated plastic outdoor furniture for the room. But it was cheap and the only place 8 could get at short notice. Very good position, clearly waiting for demolition after the development application is approved.

Good stay with clean rooms.
