It was supposed to be a stop over on route to Adelaide, but I found Strathalbyn lovely, and the hotel was amazing. Clean, friendly, and much nicer than I'd been expecting.

Ideal place to stay rather than drive home late.

Great little place for accommodation, beds were comfy, and the spa bath was wonderful. However, when it came to having dinner at the establishment, it was a huge downfall and disappointment. Food was extremely bland and tasted awful. Barely ate 1/4 of any of the two adult meals and one kids meal we had. Only good part to the meal was the premix can of drinks. Was offered a free drink or dessert as a replacement, but that doesn't make up for $100 worth of uneaten food.
