This is an older property than would probably benefit from a spruce up. It was quite dark even during the daytime due to its ground floor location. It was an easy walk into town and some tourist places. Cleanliness was average and there was some black mould in the grout of the shower tiles. The heatpump was smelly and needed cleaned. The bathroom fan, inside and out, also needed to be cleaned.

Great location, very reasonable price

I like the location of the property, across road from the beach and close to venue had function at. Motel very noisy especially if downstairs, woken 6am with children running around upstairs.

Nice spot, we were only there 1 night handy to local area

Very disappointed. Room needs upgrading. Fans needs cleaning as covered in dust. Bathroom felt grotty. Traffic noise could be heard. Carpet smelt and was grubby and had an odour. Went to see receptionist but all locked up and gone for the day.

Loved our room, and it was great being handy to everything. Enjoyed walking along the waterfront across from the motel. We would definitely come back to Napier next time in New Zealand, and would happily stay here again.

A fairly old property and not overly clean. Not convenient to the centre of town, especially on a wet day as we experienced. Beachfront would have been nicer had the deck been spacious, however, part of the balcony was obscured by a partial wall and you could barely fit the very small table and two chairs on it. A very inexpensive apartment on the plus side but the property desperately needs renovations.

Room itself is nice, being right on the main strip. Staff are very friendly and helpful Can get noisy at night however that’s due to proximity of road and that would apply to all of the motels on marine parade. One thing i wasn’t happy with was the luggage storage, or lack thereof due to the reception being closed from 11-1, just make sure you read the motel check-in procedures beforehand. Basic microwave which is fine for the room just to eat at night, for Napier the place is fine and met my expectations

Loved the convenience of location to shopping, restaurants and the beach.

Great location and friendly staff, but a leak right above the bed made the last night of the stay uncomfortable.

The beach was across the street. The room was spacious and clean. Dining options were near. The room was well equipped.

The Unit we stayed in was very nice and clean. But the bathroom was in desperate need of attention. The shower was terrible - impossible to stand under to get wet! I know bathrooms are very expensive to replace and that times are tough at present, but this bathroom needs to be replaced. Otherwise everything was A1.

Great position right near the coast and also convenient for restaurants etc . They have let the small pool go downhill as no longer in the high season , so don’t go for a swim 😳 I would recommend highly apart from that .
