Stayed in deluxe room with own en-suite. Room was clean & comfortable. Ideal for my short-term stay (3 nights), albeit a little expensive for a hostel. Had to close bathroom door overnight as fan would stay on for some reason which was loud. Didn’t use the facilities on site but staff seemed friendly & overall the building was well maintained. Pool also looked clean but didn’t use it.

Great area, didn’t use the pool or any of their facilities so can’t comment on that, pool looked good!

I stayed for a week and only once did someone come by and very quickly "cleaned." Its a beach town, it was sandy and dirty. The vent in the bathroom doesn't turn on and when someone showered it steamed the entire room. No bathrooms on my floor besides the one in my room, which was always in use. Only one mirror and hook and they also were both in the bathroom.

Convenient & walkable to shops & dining around the property. Staff were friendly. Room is clean & bed is comfy. It lacked a proper table, even a small one will suffice cos there's no space to place small stuff.

The room and the facility was very clean. The service and the location were perfect. Having chairs in the room would be nice. Thanks!

We stayed here for a night with our children. The room was clean and comfortable, the kitchen and communal spaces were inviting and well set out. We didn’t swim in the pool because of our short stay, much to our kids dismay but it looked beautiful. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and all for a very reasonable price. Would recommend. Would come back.

Clean and wonderful stay.

I had a private room, very modern bathroom and spacious. Bed was ok and couldn’t control temperature of the room so opened a window. I had a large spider crawl in and made its way to the ceiling so fly wire would be a good idea. I also got bitten by a mosquito so my last night there I didn’t sleep well because of the visiting insects.

Amazing experience with YHA Byron Bay. Excellent accomodation and great staffs.

Friendly staff and good facilities. The bed was super comfy, and we slept well! The ventilation in the room unfortunately wasn't great, and having the window locked meant we couldn’t get fresh air in. Overall it was good value and convenient though, and we would stay again!

Beds are super comfortable and all amenities are new with a clean aesthetic, had a noisy bunk mate that truly ruined my stay here. Told the staff at front desk about what happened that night during checkout and nothing was resolved just a sorry. Otherwise would recommend staying here

Great hostel. Spacious kitchen cleaned daily as well as the property. Staff were great, they had someone on site who can book you in for surfing or kayaking for cheap which was helpful.

Location was central, pricing was cheap and it had everything you needed.
