We stayed to go to a concert across the street and was perfect.

I would not recommend the Alt in Winnipeg. In the room there wasn’t even a couple bottles of water to make coffee or drink to buy water it started at 4.50 a bottle. The pillows and beds were extremely hard. We all just about fell in the bathroom it was so slippery. It was very ho and dry in the room and you couldn’t change it. When I told the front desk they apologized and said they would wave my $11 charge for water and after I left they still charged me. It was just very disappointing

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Thankfully I check the beds before I lay in them the first rooms bed was filthy. We immediately went downstairs and the staff was great. Got us a new room which still wasn’t the greatest. There was leftover restaurant sauce in the fridge along with lemon juice. So I guess if I wanted some sauce later I would be set. Parking is a little ridiculous with the price point and all the issues that arose. And breakfast was great if you’re okay with paying else where. We ate at the OEB which was amazing!

We always enjoy staying here. The location is perfect when we attend hockey games. Parking is easy and it's nice there is a skywalk.

Our overall stay was good. There is ample parking. We stayed on the 15th floor and the carpets were fairly dirty (crumbs or food noted) outside the rooms, but inside was fine. Convenient location that requires hotel key to enter the building, which is nice! Due to it being downtown there are lots of emergency vehicles driving by with sirens frequently (4 times on one night, but that’s just how it is downtown in big cities). The ALT hotel bathrooms are always a little unique (not good counter space, odd sinks and toilets, and shower doors that don’t really contain the water inside the shower), but they serve their purpose fine.

Clean room & compact

A great stay for a Jets game. Just a hop skip and a jump across the street and you're there. It was great to have a Browns Social House in the hotel, as well as Tim Hortons. But we were very disappointed to find out that Tims is closed on the weekends. Hotel is right downtown, there seem to always be lots of emergency sirens going all day and all night

Great location, which is why I picked this hotel. Unfortunately there are too many design choices the hotel made that would make me not choose them in the future. The room lighting was absolutely terrible. The dark walls and black ceiling made it feel more like a cave than a hotel room. There was also an issue with the bathroom door design. It's a split door, which swings open like a French door. It leaves a crack open in the middle, which is awkward if sharing the room. It also makes it so everything being done in the bathroom is audible elsewhere in the room. Less than ideal and typically embarrassing. The staff was courteous and accommodating, so no complaints there.
