Ideal location for Skipton, or walking the town path. Public spaces are lovely, our room was a bit tired though. Noisy in the early hours...not sure what. It sounded like fans going on and off. Ate at the bar one night which was ok. Breakfast was lovely, eating with a canal view.

Great hotel which allowed the dog. The walls by the window had marks from a previous water leak and there was no rubbish bin around hotel. I had a dog with me so ended up looking for a bin for ages, to dispose of the poop bag. Also smoke alarms are extremely sensitive. We were woken up at 5.45am by the fire alarm probably activated by someone having a shower.

Due to family reasons this was the 4th time in 6 weeks we have stayed. The tea doon we stayed was ease of booking on this site. On this occasion the room was showing its age. Signs of leaking from sky light. The bed was so uncomfortable, possibly sleeping on the floor would have been better. Skipton hotel you have a great bar area but why is the local beer always off. This time out of gas. Make sure it’s stocked up. Guess what more people will spend money there. While we had brekkie included not sure it was worth the £21 per couple if paying for it. I know it’s changed ownership and changes are on way but let’s see them. It a tired hotel

Stayed for weekend, lady from Leeds on reception lovely, the rest of staff in bar & restaurant failed any customer service satisfaction ! Everything seemed too much trouble & met with an unhelpful attidude when asked to clarify prices meal services. Price of alcohol in bar crazy Stella, vodka & coke £16.40( first & last visit). Fire alarm 8pm on Sunday for 2 minutes then stopped & no reassurance from any staff members to update guests in rooms whether it was real or not? Room was good in size & bed comfortable !

I found the hotel to be well situated to the local amenities. The room was well equipped and clean, the bedding and towels were fresh. The staff at reception were friendly and made booking in/out hassle free. I would gladly stay here again.

This is a very convenient hotel close to Skipton with the added bonus of a pool. Some of the rooms are looking a little tired, but hopefully with the rebranding, the rooms will be upgraded. Very comfortable - just a little tired. In high season it’s hard to justify.

We know the Hotel well as both originate from Skipton and remember it remember it being built. It’s showing its age; food and service was great. Disappointing bar if you like beer and not lager. All draught beers were off. Bed while massive I found hard and uncomfortable but that isn’t a reason not to stay. We were visiting family and it did the job. If you’re taking a dog make sure message from respective website has gone through. Ours didn’t but the staff managed to swap things round to ensure we had a did friendly room

It started off with check in at 4. Our room wasn’t ready until 5:40. So we had to wait with a toddler for nearly 2 hours. (We did get a free drink voucher each for the inconvenience) When we got into the room, there were footprints on the couch and some kind of dried spillage on the floor. On top of that, there was only 1 bed in the room despite booking for 2 adults and 1 child. The sleep through the night was horrific, I can only compare it to trying to sleep in the Australian outback at the height of summer. I had to open the sliding doors into the car park at 1AM and cool the room down so my son could sleep. One of these things wasn’t too bad, it was the fact they all happened. I could nitpick at other things too, but there’s no point. The staff were as helpful as they could be in their situation.

Lovely room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Let down badly by restaurant and bar service in the evening. Slow and orders placed received wrongly both restaurant and bar.

Receptionist was lovely and helpful. Other staff serving were lazy and rude. Executive room was massively overpriced and outdated. Very disappointed with my stay for the cost of £150
