Nice basic hotel in a beautiful town in the mountains. No English spoken, but that’s why you are in a remote town in Greece.

We got a different room to the one we had booked (booked a quadruple room and got a triple with an additional foldable bed). The crib had an extra charge although otherwise mentioned. The bathroom was so small that could not walk through to the shower unless one climbed over the toilet. The toilet seat was broken. there was no phone in the room (although otherwise mentioned). Always had the impression that the staff-owners were not interested in making the customers feel comfortable but were tired and just wanted to get the job done. Complete lack of professionalism.

I knew it would be quiet during the off season (mid-February), but the hotel didn't even realize I was coming, though I had booked online well in advance. I chose hotel because it was one of the few available at this time. It's hotels.com description says it offers free WiFi and breakfast. The WiFi didn't work, and no one tried to fix it. Also, there was no breakfast. I discovered that I was the only guest at the time, but no one told me anything when I arrived. The only woman who spoke any English disappeared. The bed was comfortable. The room had a heater but no refrigerator or means of making coffee/tea. Don't come here in winter. It's probably a lovely place in summer though!

So war es original in den Fünfzigern! Freundliches Personal, köstliches Frühstück, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt (Oliven, selbst gebackener Kuchen, Saft, echter, griechischer Joghurt, natürlich Schinken, Käse, Marmelade, Butter, Brot). Einzig eine Kaffeemaschine hat Einzug gefunden. Mobiliar, Zimmeraufteilung - alles stilsicher. Allerdings sind Dusche und Toilette jetzt im Zimmer untergebracht. Wer sich im Oktober über die Einsamkeit eines einsamen Bergdorfes beschwert, ist selber schuld
