Where do I begin at how incredible this place was. From the manager, Promise, to the staff that welcomed us, and saw us off, to the food, the location, everything was absolutely perfect. This is the perfect getaway to relax.

The entire staff are well trained, devoted to delivering first class service in a happy and conscientious way. Nothing in general was too much for them. The lodge is very well designed, it is open and uncluttered... very easy on the eye. Promise the Manager with the able help of Nakouchka and Kathy oversaw a diligent helpful team that were willing to assist in every way. A very good stay...Thank you

We had the most amazing stay at Zebras crossing. I can not recommend this place enough for a long weekend or weekend break to escape the hustle of the city. Everything was just perfect from beginning to end. Arrived to the friendly staff who showed us to our room and took such exceptionally good care of us our entire stay. The lodge only has a small number of rooms, so it really is quiet and peaceful and does not get busy. The rooms are beautiful, and such attention to detail. The bed is massive and has lovely pillows and linen. Massive bath and the most lovely outdoor shower which is greatly welcomed, as temperatures can get rather high in the summer. Our room had a lovely little stoep over looking the pool area, koppie and open bush where so many animals come to graze and visit. The pool is wonderful and it was very special lying there and watching the giraffes and zebras grazing so close by. They also have a lovely bush bed and a great little lookout point which is great for a sundowner. We did self catering and only took breakfast so we cant comment on the dinners but breakfasts are very tasty but the fry up portions is rather small especially for a man. They have a lovely farm kitchen so one can bring along their own drinks and food, which I think is really awesome. We opted to braai, and the staff set everything up for us. Loved Zebras crossing, a real gem!!

Zebras crossing was a definite highlight of our trip!! We could not have asked for better service from the whole staff, and the owners Tamar and York are incredible, some of the best people we have ever met. Everyone there goes the extra distance to make sure your stay is the best experience it could possibly be. We saw giraffes that strolled along right next to the pool, we were able to feed zebras carrots right next to where we were sitting on the patio, there were meerkats and ostriches, an amazing safari ride, doesn’t get much better than that! Oh, and let’s not forget about those crazy delicious croissants at breakfast! We stayed with our little baby and another couple that had a baby and it was perfect for the little ones too, they loved seeing all the animals up close! Thanks for the unforgettable stay Tamar and York, we would love to be back again soon!!
