The location was great for visiting landmarks, palaces and even hiking Inwansan. It’s a traditional Korean setup with heated floors which was a very nice touch.

Let me start off by saying that my family and I had an absolutely wonderful 4 days in Seoul, and part of that was staying at the Bibimbap Guesthouse. However, it is important to note that this place is not for everyone! For us, the location was absolutely incredible. We are big walkers, and we didn't take the subway or a taxi once (except to the airport) - you can walk everywhere from here! It is also right near a fabulous 'food street' which is bustling every night with different restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean, the atmosphere is lovely (both my husband and I had work-related calls we had to take, and it was just so wonderful to sit out in the courtyard - almost like we weren't working!). Leo, the young proprietor, speaks outstanding English, and all of the staff we encountered there were friendly and helpful, even when language was a barrier! However, it is important to note that it is very 'minimalist', with mattresses on the floor, a teeny tiny bathroom/shower, hand towels only, nowhere in the room to sit or put anything down other than the floor, and the soundproofing between rooms isn't great. I kept wondering what the experience would have been like for my parents, who are in their 70s and have bad knees etc?! Also, 'breakfast' is a freeze-dried 'cup noodles' and water, so don't be fooled into thinking this is a 'B&B'. I was looking forward to fresh Bibimbap in the morning, but instead we ate out (I need my coffee). So, not for everyone, but worked for us!

Great location. Close to everything. Wonderful English speaking owner. It’s a hanok so they don’t normally use a big bath towel. They just give you a small hand towel. The floors are heated. I liked the Bibimbap breakfast. The pillow is a little flat so probably better if they provide two. All in all, a very good value for money. Would highly recommend.

This place is not cheap, but totally worth every penny. First, the location is fantastic - you can walk to most places you'd like to see, and it's near a tube station with 3 different lines. Mind blowing number of restaurants and cafes nearby, and the whole area is super cute (personally I thought it was much better than the guidebook-recommended Bukchon Hanok village). Second, the staff is super friendly and helpful, allowed us to check in way before the "official" time, and were super helpful with advice. Third, facilities are great. Sleeping is in traditional Korean rooms, but on not-so-traditional mattresses - so much more comfortable than standard futons! Bathrooms and rooms very clean, no problems with hot water. There is a bibimbap each morning for breakfast, and tea/coffee making facilities, you can also cook if you get supplies. There is air con in the room but we didn't need it even though outside it was quite hot - the rooms stayed cool. Highly recommended, one of our favourites during our Korea trip!

Bibimbap is a cute little place, with super-friendly staff. I arrived far too early for checkin; in spite of that, Leo let me into the courtyard, gave me the royal tour and the WiFi password, and friended me on Facebook. He told me that if I had any problems anywhere, to send him a message and he'd help. Fantastic friendliness. That said, the guesthouse is not a full-service hotel. Don't expect it to be. The rooms are quite small, and furnished with only a TV and futon mattress. Also, bring your own bath towel. But, surprisingly, the clothes washer is available... for free! Dryer costs just a little bit extra. But the value is tremendous, and the people truly make this place great. Also, the location turned out to be much quieter than I expected, given its position in a busy neighborhood. There are places along the alleys that have good food and good desserts. It's located near the Jongno 3-ga subway station, just a short walk away. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Very nice and comfortable traditional guesthouse for those who want to experience traditional Korean lifestyle and culture. Also, the guesthouse is very easy to find, only 2 mins walk from the subway station. A lot of attractions within a short walking distance from the guesthouse. There are many local restaurants and convenience stores around the guesthouse. Two guesthouse's owners were very nice and young. They helped me a lot during the trip, so feel free to ask them any questions you have about the trip in Seoul. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to my family and friends.

Bibimbap house combines the feel of an authentic traditional korean home but with modern amenities. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, also one of the few people I met who spoke fluent English. The whole place is so picturesque and definitely worth a visit.

Traditional hanok guesthouse with small rooms around a central courtyard. Each room has comfortable sleeping mattresses which can be folded up during the day, cool air conditioning, wifi, and a private toilet/shower room. A breakfast of rice and bibimbap is available every morning, and the kitchen is available for guests to use, as is a washing machine and dryer.

As a solo female traveler I wanted to stay in a safe, convenient location that is close to public transportation and sights. It was my first time in Korea and I wanted to experience Hanok. I looked online and noticed many of the Hanoks have shared bath. Fortunately I found Bibimbap Guesthouse, which has everything I was looking for. All the rooms have private bath, it is close to a subway exit with an escalator (don't take it for granted in Seoul). It is a cute little family-run Hanok that was comfortable and clean and is walkable to many of the sights. I needed my ear plugs as it can get a little noisy when the guests in the next door get in and out but it was acceptable. My flight was delayed and the host was accommodating even though I checked in pretty late at night. Overall great experience

The guesthouse is a renovated traditional Seoul house, and the walls are thin. Despite the central location and the many restaurants nearby this is a very quiet place. But if you can keep your kids a little quiet, it is a great place for staying with toddlers. They will find it intensely exciting and love to meet other guests. For families with kids out of diapers the combination shower-bathroom can cause a strain however. But the rooms are clean and spacious even when you fold out the mattresses on the floor (there are no beds). And the included breakfast is a good bonus, once you figure out kids love Korean nori mixed with rice.

Location is near the subway station exit and was easy to find with clear directions provided by the guesthouse. Due to a delay at the airport, we arrived at the guesthouse very late in the night and our host, Leo, was patient to wait for us (grateful for that:)). Room and bedding were clean, and we were kept warm. Breakfast was simple but delicious - bibimbap. Leo is also friendly and responsive. Would recommend staying here if you would like a taste of the hanok experience!
