Was a great spot, very clean and newly furnished by look of it. will definitely book again.

The cabin we used was in excellent condition and adequate for our needs as were the cooking and ablution block. Very tidy grounds.

Our economy cabin is very small but well equipped with a small fridge, microwave and pot and plate in case you want to cook at the public kitchen . That is good . The bad thing is the public toilet . It is old , dirty. One small sink for the whole toilet with no place to put your toothbrush or toiletries. The gate is closed at 10PM and not opened until almost 7AM even it is written that it is opened at 6:30AM . If you want to leave early you have to leave your car or camping car outside the park !

Great place to stay to get away from it all. Wonderful scenery.

I can see why it has the title "Magical Mangawhai" - The views were totally breathtaking. I will be returning (& hope to stay longer next time).
