This was our first stay at a b&b hotel and will definitely be our last. Upon arrival we were greeted by the receptionist who said we had to pay a security deposit. We paid this on the understanding it would be repaid. It turned out this was not the case, it was to pay for the room which we had already paid for in advance through hotels.com . Despite me contacting hotels.com since our return and their efforts on our behalf, the hotel have refused our refund. This has resulted in me paying twice for a hotel room. On top of that the air-conditioning wasn't working meaning the room was too uncomfortable to sleep in. We asked for a fan but none available and we're told that the air-conditioning was expensive to repair and they didn't know when it would be repaired. My advice is avoid at all costs.

Room had no air, as there was no air conditioning and as it was duplex family room, with the heat it was unbearable. We all spent the night sweating and had to get a fan from the car to attempt to cool us down. The heating/cooling system did not work and there was no one around to help. The toilet was so close to the sink it was uncomfortable. There were no staff on site and when we turned up it was not obvious how to open the car park gate.

Service was fast and friendly, the room was spacious, clean and fresh. A well placed hotel for the Benin shops and restaurants and the motorways. We will use again.

We stayed in a family room with the split level rooms. The downstairs beds were absolutely dreadful, however the rest of the room was perfect. Only thing lacking was a small bar fridge.

Nice place, but indicating how to get out of the hotel area after the gate was closed would’ve been nice, we didn’t know how to get out and no code was indicated for us. Also there was a man screaming around 11:40pm about something and I think security came to talk to him so I felt safer knowing that.

Me and my family including my 80 year old father were looking forward to stopping over for the night before we were due to travel home from a holiday in Italy on the eurotunnel, however I can sadly report that this hotel was the hotel deville or hotel from hell and recommend any future travellers to avoid this hotel and only consider if it was the only hotel left on the planet for the following reasons our stay was a nightmare!: 1.Reception was very unfriendly not a single smile and no facilities were explained as if they could not be bothered. 2.Room was a complete shabby mess, old tired decor, carpet had so many stains and sticky things sticking to your feet as you tread on it, it was a case of wiping your feet on the way out.shower tray step was approx 2 foot up, honestly for a 80 year old disabled pensioner!. so old and dirty that we did not have a shower or wash as the basin had hairs in it as well as on the floor. 3.we were woken at 1am by an all male party next door, fighting, loud music, throwing beer bottles, threatening and aggressive until 4am, nightmare we all had no sleep and so tired on the trip home, no reception as they had gone home so we were left to put up with it. 4.Stairs to upper tier beds were a unsafe due to trip hazard bottom of stairs. In all fairness the reception was apologetic when we complained the next morning but it was far short of rectifying our experience and we just put this down to experience and would never book this hotel ever again.

My family and I spent 1 night here en route to our holiday in France after being delayed by almost 3 hours on Eurotunnel. We arrived, very tired and hot at almost midnight. A security man was on site to give us our room details. He spoke very little English and we hardly any French but he was friendly and efficient. There was plenty of secure parking with cctv cameras at the B and B. We had booked a non smoking room but there was a smell of cigarettes in the room. The room was clean. The beds very comfortable. The room was small but sufficient for our 1 night stay. We were very grateful for the air conditioning due to the exceptional heat. Shower and toilet were clean and although again small but in perfect working order. Breakfast was a buffet style. Food good and plenty of choice. A very convenient stop off. Very good value for money. Our only real complaint was a lack of sockets for charging phones etc. Would recommend for a 1 night stay.

This an excellent hotel for cost and proximity to many events. The staff are also superb, they helped us with everything. I think the availability of an iron & board and hair dryer at the front desk would be helpfully to those over 50.

Stayed with 3 other friends, for a sightseeing trip in a neighbouring town. The hotel was exactly as expected. The loft beds were a nice feature. The room itself was a little cramped in the bottom bed area, but we really didn't spend much time in the room, so it's not worth complaining about. We had very little interaction with the hotel staff, as there is a self check-in feature, but when we did interact with them, they were nice, although there was definitely a language barrier. Nice hotel for a small town area, just be advised that you pretty much need to drive to anything else around it. The restaurant next door was great

A basic motel which was clean and plenty of free parking spaces. This is a motel which caters for people stopping off on their journey.
