Buzz, the owner, was exceptionally helpful and a great cook! Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable.

Lovely and clean and jo and buzz are super hospitable and friendly. Even made my breakfast to take away as i had a funeral and had to leave early.

Just returned from an excellent stay at the Beaches Guesthouse and would definitely return. Warm welcome and friendly service from Jo and Buzz throughout our stay. Room 10 was spacious, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and featured a good sized ensuite. The room could be improved by replacing the blind such that it blocks out all light in the mornings. Breakfast was included with a range of cereals, etc. on offer and a cooked breakfast which extended to things like Eggs Benedict, Salmon, Croissant with Cheese and Ham, etc. but unfortunately none of the more traditional offerings, like Bacon. Location: pretty good with nearby free parking, a short walk to parks, pubs, shops, and cafes, and about a 30 minute walk to the pier.

We had a lovely stay at this guest house. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the decor is to die for. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.

Delicious breakfast options. Very much liked the availability of ironing facilities on every landing. Comfortable stay in peaceful seafront location.

The Beaches hotel was a really good find. It was beautifully decorated and we wanted for nothing. Jo,Buzz and all the staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was amazing. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. The parking was a problem as although it was free on street parking,

We had a lovely stay at The Beaches Guesthouse! Our room was great with a small balcony overlooking the sea. The fan was very welcome as it was super hot. Breakfast was really good and the hosts Jo and Buzz were very friendly.

We had an amazing stay at Beaches. The grounds and house are impeccable, with lovely interiors. There are so many thoughtful details throughout the property, and Buzz and Jo were responsive, kind, and personable. The area is close enough to walk to the main part of town, but we loved the quiet and calmer street, as well as the dining options. We will be back!

What a fantastic find! Such a lovely Guest House. So much attention to detail - environmentally aware, very clean and fresh, lovely friendly staff. The toiletries were gorgeous - I particularly loved that the packaging was printed using natural products. And, breakfast was beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious, in a beautiful, bright breakfast room and garden. Excellent all round. I can't wait to go back.

Lovely guest house. Great position.

We attended a wedding nearby and found this Guest House as perfect base. High standard of decor and facilities. Very helpful friendly staff and finished off with a freshly cooked breakfast. Would recommend.

The couple running this guesthouse make every effort to ensure you have an amazing stay. The room we stayed in was well proportioned, with large shower room, and balcony with sea view. There were all the ‘products’ you could want, and all of very high quality. The breakfast is lovingly cooked presented by Jo. She does the best poached eggs, and we had them served in a variety of ways.

Jo and buzz amazing as always. Told them i was fasting and wouldnt eat breakfast. So they made me lunch to take with me. Lovely room sea views lovely family. Stayed her many times and will continue to do so.

This hotel was just perfect with sea view and a great balcony. Hotel was clean also,but it could of done with more coffee in room and little fridge with water and others drinks in ect.... A dressing grown and slippers for more of a comfortable touch would just be perfect and a grate finish overall the staff was very nice and helpful, look forward to are stay again.

Lovely room. Easy access. Proper Hot water and heating unlike many places these days which was a Godsend. Lovely breakfast room and the whole place beautifully clean. 24 hour soft drinks and snacks available which meant my 3am snack fest eliminated my hangover. Thanks Jo & Buzz! See you next time :)

Really appreciated how quiet it was at night, and the room was warm, cosy and very clean. Check in was friendly/efficient and due to leaving early the next morning I was able to get some breakfast to take away, which was nice. Would certainly stay again if I return to the area in future.
