Great location. Quirky rooms. The whole place needs some maintenance Friendly staff. Some complementary bikes for rent would be a great touch. A bit more of an alcoholic selection for the complementary drink would also be nice. Unfortunately the nightly rate is too high for what it is.

What a stunning boutique hotel in a wonderful neighborhood of Taipei!One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in and it’s small, so no maddeningly loud massive crowds at breakfast or any time. Extremely thoughtful attention to artistic design with the architect taking inspiration from Goya’s Priverbios. If you like an unusual use of copper, both hammered and flat polished, beautiful rustic wood and leather, absolutely stunning natural marble bathrooms, and so much more, this place is a real gem for the eyes. Excellent drinks and food in the hotel bar and lounge. Fantastically helpful and friendly staff. Bar Mood and Book Ing bar are both must visits, with both making off-the-charts creative cocktails. Definitely going to return to this one.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Beautifully designed and very quiet. The room and bed was very comfortable. Staff is excellent. We enjoyed the inventive cocktails in the bar and the rooftop pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Truly professional, attentive and courteous staff; clean and beautifully maintained rooms and amenities; convenient location, short walk to metro and buses; a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and shop options nearby. Highly recommend this hotel, one of the best we have stayed with.

Staff were super friendly and helpful (always grabbing the door and/or offering us an umbrella on the way out), bar staff included (the drinks and food were so good that we ended most nights in the East End bar - Clay made us feel very welcome there). The location is perfect as it is right by a bunch of shopping, department stores, restaurants, two metro lines, etc. And the room was more than enough space for the two of us, with a large bathroom and bathtub, along with all the amenities and nice-to-have's.

We stayed here for 7 nights. At first we thought it was bit quirky but within 1 day we came to love the quirkiness , and enjoyed the amazing rooftop pool and the bar on the 3 rd floor has the best award winning cocktails ( well done Clay) The front desk staff could not be more helpful with a shout out to Spud. As for location having spent 7 days solely in Taipei , there is no better location.

Fantastic location, close to metro, shopping and food. Check in/out was efficient and quick. Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and taxis, especially Spud. Would definitely recommend. Rooms were clean and well appointed with free snacks and drinks.

Treated myself to a stay here. Really enjoyed it. Pricey for sure, but nice rooms, comfy beds, and some of the best, friendliest and most intelligent front desk service you’ll find anywhere in the world. I was traveling alone and staff were proactive, welcoming, anticipated my needs without being invasive, and went above and beyond. Deep soak tub was wonderful after walking on a cold, wet wintry day. Interesting area too. Many fun small shops and things to shop and eat. One area to improve: there was no smart TV with built-in Netflix, Spotify etc. nowadays, at this price point and for a hotel of this calibre, one would expect it.
