Nice rustic hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly.

A short winter visit. Chose a small room, which was basic but more than suitable for our needs, no issues with cleanliness. Room got cleaned everyday. Shower worked well, no issues with hot water. AirCon available but didn't use. Radiators could be turned off, room would be hot with them left on, we had no issues with temperature. TV with remote in the room. You could hear other rooms but everything seemed to go silent around 10pm. Found the owners & staff friendly, the hotel felt like a home from home but I do speak Italian. The owners live on site and are always around to help. Optional evening meal was excellent. Optional breakfast was adequate & typically continental. Style of hotel was very much a mountain chalet. Log fire in communal area with a bar. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning.

Rooms were clean and a nice size. Service was very good and the staff are friendly. Nice breakfast and a lovely restaurant within walking distance.

It’s really cute hotel. Front desk area is very lovely ! Clean and quiet hotel. Cute dogs were welcoming me. And Front desk stuff are friendly and kind I’d love to come back and stay this hotel again !

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a beautiful, peaceful location. Lots of charm, super friendly staff and amazing accommodations. Loved the pool area as well. Totally unique hotel, it’s a bit off the main drag, but a local pizza place was open until midnight and we heard a live band from a distance playing until late while we ate our pizza by the pool, and that was on a Thursday night! You won’t be disappointed.

We were going to Parma on a ham and cheese tour the following day and chose this hotel for location and very reasonable price. We enjoyed the outside deck to sit and there is a nice fireplace in the lobby area. The neighbourhood area was nice to walk around, had sidewalks and felt safe. Hotel staff pleasant and offered wine opener and glasses to use. We were disappointed that the pool and sauna closed so early in the evening (7 pm) there was no signage to indicate this, and we had already turned on the sauna before they shut out the lights as it needed 30 minutes to heat. The room was clean enough, but dated and the washroom had a foul odour.

Have stayed here twice as an overnight stop on a long journey. Great to get into the jacuzzi pool after a long drive. Then have a fantastic meal in the hotel restaurant. It's a very friendly and homely atmosphere and great value for money. Will try and stay longer to get to the Terme and Castle next time.

Nice, clean place with nice customer service. The only problem was the wifi. I work as I travel and this wifi was a major problem for me. That being said, the attendants were super nice and the hotel was clean and comfortable.

We came to the town for a music festival. Monica and Mauritzo were wonderful , helpful hosts and the hotel has a charming old world feel. Accommodations were simple, clean and comfortable. The lobby/great room and two dining rooms allowed for socializing (we met many interesting people!) and relaxing. The grounds are well maintained and there is a lovely indoor/outdoor pool, where we spent a relaxing afternoon. The town itself contains a large thermal spa, which we did not have time to visit, but which draws many people from the region and comes highly recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday.

Charming staff,simple but very clean room ,good pool area and good restaurant

We stayed in this hotel for one night enroute from Umbria to Milan. It was very welcoming and friendly staff. The hotel itself is a wee but tired but everything worked and was very comfortable. We had dinner which was very good and amazing value at 15 Euros each. breakfast also v good. Excellent value for money.

Very helpful staff, nice comfortable rooms. Noisy one night there due to hotel across the valley having a very loud concert. No fault of the Ricordo. Nice pool as well.

Alles in allem okay für eine Nacht. Es war alles sauber, aber die Sanitäranlagen sollten erneuert werden, da von ihnen ein unangenehmer Geruch ausgeht. Als wir ankamen wurden wir erstmal minutenlang von dem Hund der Rezeptionistin angebellt, bis sie ihn endlich zu sich nahm und er aufhörte zu bellen. Das war schon etwas komisch und gerade mit kleinen Kindern ein nicht so angenehmer Empfang. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut.

Quando sei cliente hai la possibilità di scegliere, se vuoi risparmiare e basta devi accontentati . Disguido o incomprensione ma mi è dato chiesto di pagare la colazione che per Me era compresa. Alla fine l’addetta ha lasciato perdere . Per educazione ringrazio ma La colazione doveva esser compresa .

La struttura nel complesso è buona. Ma le stanze (3 diverse nell’ultimo periodo) sono abbastanza Trascurate. Le stanze sono pulite ma avendo gli accessori (tipo box doccia e asse del wc) molto vetusti risulta molto difficile che possano essere disinfettati a dovere.
