The lodge is lovely, game drives well organised. Every effort is taken to ensure your comfort. Our driver/ tracker was polite, friendly and well informed. We saw lions, rhinos, elephants, hynae, jackal, zebra, giraffes hippos... but no leopard! The food is pretty average and your preferences that they ask about are pretty much ignored. I had said no pasta but that is what I got and a bland and tasteless one at that with no sauce. In particular the dinners lack imagination, especially if you are vegetarian.

The property was AMAZING! Every part of the place had such an African feel to it and the decor and layout of the rooms was phenomenal.

Fantastic unforgettable experience. Everything was looked after so well. Fabulous game drives. David was fantastic. Delicious food. Recommend the place to anyone who wants a superlative Safari experience .

Fantastic accommodation and game drives. We loves it . We were not able to see lions. But there were lots of animals and we were very happy with our experience.

We stayed 2 nights in Baobab. From our arrival in Hoedspruitt airport we were treated wonderfully by Jason and the lodge´s team. If you are looking for a friendly relaxed visit to see the Big Five, this is the place for you. We had the opportunity to see a large number of animals in everyone of our 4 rides. Our ranger BJ led us expertly and safely while sharing his passion for the bush And in between rides we relaxed by the pool or were able to have great meals accompanied by excellent South African wine. Our cottage was enormous and beautifully decorated. We do look forward to returning sometime in the future. Thanks Baobab

Amazing gem! Great spot, felt like our own place. Staff was very personable and attentive. Went out of their way to make you feel at home. Rooms were very nice along with the food and drinks. Safari drives were also fantastic and highlight of our trip. Thank you!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The mangers were amazing and our ranger JV was phenomenal! Highly recommended this place to anyone.

Really great place to stay and go on Safari drives. I really can't think of anything that was not good. The managers were friendly and professional, the drives were amazing with great rangers. Obviously there is no guarantee what you will see, but we managed to see all big 5 within the first hour of one drive. Can't fault it. Just be aware if arriving by plane you need to arrange a transfer .The managers will arrange this is you ask.

The Baobab Ridge Lodge is a wonderful place for a safari as well as quiet relaxation in a serene, picturesque setting. Jess and Brett are terrific hosts and we felt like we were staying with family. Jayvee and Davey were incredible as they drove us through the bush searching and sighting animals and birds. Their knowledge was astounding and we saw more than we imagined including the Big 5. The meals were delicious and it was a joy to hear the chatter and laughter coming from the kitchen. I can’t speak highly enough of Baobab Ridge Lodge. Thank you, Jan, Paul and Cleo.

This place is amazing. Staff look after you like royalty and the food is fresh and brilliant. The drives with our guide David were truly professional and out of this world. A true bucket list itinerary.

Beautiful spot for just chilling and relaxing, but fabulous game drive opportunities as well. Morning and afternoon drives were all incredibly successful- we saw 50+elephants, lions, rhinos and hyena all up close with no other vehicles around. Can't forget the Giraffe as well. Open top vehicles make for great viewing... and guides are really knowledgeable. Food is great, and you can't beat the big comfy loungers next to the pool. Very nice Wine and beer are included as well... which is fabulous. We have been to many lodges... and this one sits very close to the top! We can't wait to come back.

Lodge was amazing. Rooms and living areas are very comfortable and spacious. The entire staff at the lodge was incredible - so nice and helpful. Our game driver took it to heart that we saw as much as possible. Can't recommend this place enough

Everyone was extremely nice, food was excellent, room was amazing, saw elephants and zebras at the hotel watering hole! David our game driver was excellent, followed all the footprints of animals and answered all my questions

We experienced a wonderful 3 night stay at Baobab Ridge.The facilities and the staff are excellent, with great food and friendly service. Jason and David are very experienced game rangers and made our game drives very special. We will definitely consider to return.
