The quality of the rooms varies according to what you have signed up for. We stayed in several hotels in Sri Lanka and the meaning of the term Deluxe room is very different to what we would regard as a deluxe room in the west and I think it is important to realise this. We were upgraded from our Deluxe room at the Hasara and had a lovely room with very good air conditioning, en suite, and TV, balcony and views. The staff were all really helpful and friendly to both ourselves and our two teenage sons. Breakfast was western if you wanted it , staff were very accepting if us being quite late for breakfast on occasion and we ate in the restaurant on several evenings and really liked the food. In summary, original deluxe room needed some work on it but upgraded room we really liked. The hotel owner ran us to the station himself which was very good of him.

The hotel staff was nice and seemed ready to help until the bill came. This website says breakfast and water bottles are free and they tried to make me pay extra for those. I had to argue and show them the page until they changed it. Very annoying.

A/C was brand new, really refreshing. Would have given a better score if the bathroom had been as clean as the bedroom, breakfast was good, I had western one morning and Sri Lankan the next morning, both simple but tasty. Was abit of a walk to Galle Fort and the majority of the road didn't have street lighting, although a tuktuk only cost Rs200 (£1)

Worst hotel in my life. The rooms are not clean and the pictures you see are not real relating the rooms. Reception department also don't care for customer needs. Very hard bed.

완전 친절하고 가격에비해 호텔이 좋음 1층에있는 네스토랑 가격싸고 맛있슴 포트에서 거리는 툭툭이로 10분정도 이동해야하지만 머물기 좋았슴 추천합니다.

The staff members are nice and can speak some English. The hotel is quite near the railway station and main bus station where tourists can find buses to go to other cities. It cost 200-300 rupees to go from the hotel to the main bus station by tuk tuk. Our room was located in a different building which was next to the building where the lobby was. The building was a two-storey walk-up. The room looks a bit old, but spacious and clean. It seems that the hotel is located in a residential area. There were not many shops and restaurants nearby, but again, it took us only 5-10 minutes to go to the old town by tuk tuk and it just cost 300 rupees.
