Good location. Small room and bathroom but good for price. Friendly staff.

Ideally placed to catch the 14 Tram to central station which stopped right outside the hotel, reception staff friendly, spoke good English, hotel quiet, and comfortable room, although bath room very small. Noticed a few dirty matks on the skirting boards/ lower walls but overall a pleasant stay for the price, situated next door to a small newsagents type store for basics essentials, and across from the Zoo entrance, with a few small cafes, bars and pizza/ kebab places.

We had top floor so room was small but very clean and right by the 14 Tram. We mostly walked the 20-30 min into town

As a plus…convenience to the tram. Right out side the front door. Negatives…safe in room did not work, head space in bed was terrible (vaulted ceiling), sheets and towels never changed (4 nights), coffee machine in lobby was limited to one free cup for 4 nights stay, no shower curtain and limited head space. Also a different fee was charged to us each of the four nights we stayed with no explanation as to why. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The staff at reception were great. We found them friendly and helpful. We also liked the location of the hotel because the places we wanted to visit were nearby and the tram stop was just outside the front door of the hotel.

Nice place and next to the train stop

My partner and I stayed in the Terrace Room and I have to say this room was OK. There is no A/C or fridge in this room. Most hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe have a fridge and A/C so I was surprised that this hotel does not. The room was very hot all day and night. It was hard to sleep at night. Even during the day, our room was hotter than the hallway. We told the staff our concern and they provided us with an extra fan. This still did not solve the overheating issue we were having. Also the shower in the bathroom had some stains on the walls and the door handles were not cleaned either. Overall my stay was OK. The only good thing for me was the front staff. They were nice. But unfortunately I will not be back.

Very below par hotel. Definitely not a three star. There was no proper lobby or room service. The cleanliness in the basement rooms is also very objectionable. Security is also not so great. Good location though but lacks proper services for three star hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are great and the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights with my wife and daughter, everything worked great.

Good stay for the price. Hotel has alot of cafes and resteraunts in the area, also a train station right infront of the property. Friendly staff at the front desk, and house keeping did a great job witb the room cleaning.

I booked this property because the tram spot is right outside, which was very convenient. Rooms were outdated and desperately in need of painting.the carpet was a maroon color and not really of good quality. Some of the staff wasn’t very pleasant (preferred to be on their phone with a personal call) and the towels had seen better days. One of our towels had a huge rip along the edge. The bathrooms are tiny but to be expected in Amsterdam.

Great neighborhood by the zoo, walk or take 14 tram into center or away from the chaos. Plain, simple. Little noisy due to tram and restaurants nearby. But great restaurants everywhere. Hotel needs to wash shower curtain and regular curtains.

Great hotel and the use of a lift was very welcome!

This is not a 3-star hotel. The best part of the hotel was the tram I right in front of the hotel.

When I booked (fairly last minute) they didn't have a room with two separate beds. I asked for a mattress for the floor and they came up with one instantly! It's a small hotel, but there's an elevator and friendly staff, the room layout worked fine, and the tram is right out front!

The rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. The bed linens are old, the towels are thread bear, the walls need to be painted, the tiles going into the bathroom are broken. We had to be moved to a downgraded room because of a maintenance issue, and now they won’t respond to my requests for a refund for the difference in price. When we checked out, the nice front desk person said “good luck with that, they don’t care”. And she was right.

A nice little hotel about 25 min walk to Amsterdam Centrum. Clean place, friendly staff and right by tram stop to take you into the centrum
