Stay was very nice. Great staff, rooms, and breakfast. Outside amenities have been updated. Inside amenities are sceduled for some updates.

Fantastic location with great staff, wonderful rooms, overall, wonderful breakfast, and facilities in super condition! Thank you so much! Only comments to make it even better would be for a soft closing lid on the toilet and to clean the vent in the bathroom to rid the dust.

Great location within minutes of Mt Rushmore but still quiet, secluded and peaceful

My wife and I stayed one night on our trip to see Mt. Rushmore. I highly recommend this place. You can see the Mountain from the hotel! The restaurant has good food with a view on the porch. I wish breakfast had been open a little longer.

K Bar S Lodge is fantastic! View of Black Hills is superb, rooms are furnished with excellent mattresses; reasonably priced meals in their cafe; very tasty complimentary breakfast buffet served in Gazebo with great menu options; gracious and friendly welcoming staff; 15 minutes from Mt Rushmore; Very Friendly guests week before Sturgis Rally! 'Little surprised' that guests are charged 18.5% on top of menu prices to pay salaries of wait staff. Then another tips is optional but encouraged. But we will return to K Bar S on our next trip to Mt Rushmore and Keystone area.

Beautiful hotel nested in the woods but only a minute away from the busy area. Absolutely gorgeous, staff is friendly, room is spacious, beds clean and comfortable.

I loved the location! Secluded, pretty and very convenient to Keystone and surrounding rides, and Mt Rushmore If you don’t want to go anywhere for food, the restaurant is pretty good, and the breakfast is excellent I actually don’t have anything bad to say about the place, I highly recommend it.

Would like to have the room cleaned more frequently. Overall, very nice lodge.

Nice room. We had booked a mountain view and balcony which would have been excellent had the weather not been cold and misty (but the hotel cannot control the weather!). The view was of Mt Rushmore and we did get a glimpse of a profile of one of the Presidents. We had dinner at the Bar and really enjoyed the Chicken Club Sandwich and Pulled Pork Sandwich.

This place was amazing. It was nice to have a coffee shop on site especially when you’re traveling. The best thing was the view from our room.
