Great property. The majority of the areas are4modern and well maintained. I got a free upgrade to a junior suite which was very nice indeed. The bar and restaurant were both lovely. It is an expensive hotel but I feel worth it. Lovely breakfast. Staff very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel

I was really disappointed with my stay. I was given the wrong room to what I had booked. I booked the king suite with jacuzzi and was given the duluxe double with jacuzzi. Reception made me out to be stupid saying they don’t do such a room. The double duluxe was so uncomfortable. Needs a new mattress desperately. There was a huge red stain on the floor. The room was freezing with a draft coming under the door, the signal on the tv did not work and the remote didn’t work to search on YouTube. I’m actually shocked at this property after wanting to stay for a long time. I’m so disappointed

My trip was very disappointing, On arrival it was hard to find a parking space. I chose this hotel as it was a spa hotel, upon arrival i was informed that the spa was out of service for the next 2 days which was disappointing. The shower head in my room was leaking as was the sink tap, I found a can of hair products on the chair in my room and the TV was on a table where you could only see half the screen from the bed. For a premier hotel that is charging premium rates I expect so much more.

Great location, reception were friendly and helpful on arrival and the room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The pool area was really nice, but too chilly to stay and lounge. Reception there was a little abrupt and overheard staff discussing "that Asian bloke who was here" which was distasteful. Refused a dining table at first on the Sun evening, went to reception and they were happy to book us on for 8pm? Meal was good but then had somebody else's coffees on our bill. Second night pre-booked, again great food, but incorrect drink served then server was snippy when I politely requested some lime or lemon in my G&T - not necessary behaviour really. Despite those small things and the GBNews set as the default TV Channel (??), we had a lovely relaxing stay and would recommend it to others.

Overall we enjoyed our stay But we found a be room was too small compared t what we were expecting. We had booked a higher grade room and did not think our room (Room 16) was the right one. Also the bathroom door lock squeaked a lot and disturbed my partner and the basin tap in the room was faulty and difficult to operate

Loved the property and the area. Our room although clean was very small and looked over the dirty roof of an outbuilding. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Some of the facilities were a bit dated and could do with a bit of upgrading. The bar was extremely small for such a large hotel and difficult to find a seat.

It was value for money. The hotel was a little tired but mostly clean and presentable. We very much appreciated a room upgrade but the chap that checked us in spoke in a robotic manner with little eye contact. The ladies at breakfast were friendly and helpful

Despite having to wait for someone to show up at the reception desk for like 10 mins, quite understandable having realized this place was hoppin' with a wedding and some other function going on. Property was clean and had a comfortable stay, bar staff very friendly and served late. Breakfast was good, parking free albeit this night it was tough to find a spot

Lovely Grounds. Breakfast was a good selection, but breakfast room is too small and too confined. Bedroom was lovely, modern decor, but mattress was terribly soft and worn down, very uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and polite, but there is a very sombre atmosphere about the place. Someone tried to the handle of our bedroom 3 times within the space of an hour between 2am and 3am! My charge from Expedia was £100 than the itinerary that I was emailed from Moor Hall direct!!??

Room was small and noisy extraction fan directly outside bedroom window Request to move and given room higher up No view as wooden barriers cover extraction system Room small but old fashioned, was clean. Hotel carpets landings and stairs were a disgrace tacky so you feet stuck a little in placed same with banisters, had to wash hands repeatedly….remainder of hotel was clean but old fashioned and at £160 per night zero value for money and i will never use this hotel again

Friendly staff member when we arrived late. It was dark when we arrived after a long car journey and we found the signs to the hotel difficult especially at the very end. There wasn’t a lift up to our room which was disappointing to two septuagenarians! But the lovely night porter helped with that.
