Nice hotel, good location. Didn't eat or drink there so cannot comment on that. Room was tidy and clean, beds comfy. Electric chargers (2 ports) are on the same spots as the disabled bays, and are at a flat rate of £30 (not sure if that's per day or per stay, I didn't use them). Both look like 7 or 11kw but I didn't really investigate.

Useful location, price not too bad, does the job.

- The guy that checked us in really didnt want to be at work that day. Was completely uninterested - Booked the room for 3 but couch wasn't set up - Couch bed mattress was horrendous. Shower head barely worked - Cleaning process doesnt follow industry standard and its not communicated to guests. Just put a poster in the room instead of a tiny one at reception. - blown a fuse at night, and stuf wasnt able to access fuse box. We had to move rooms which was quite annoying and time consuming

Friendly staff, really good breakfast even though it was only a continental type breakfast. Pastries, cold meat (nice quality) and cheese, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices, cereals & toast but plenty for everyone and all fresh. The rooms were a reasonable size. All in all a good experience.

Overall our stay was very pleasant; the staff friendly and helpful. However we had a room for 3 adults and apart from having to pull the sofa bed out and make it ourselves it was extremely uncomfortable with a mattress so thin the metal work could be felt. We would also have liked hot milk at breakfast (for weetabix) which we were told wasn't available. The hotel served our purpose but was not the same standard as other Best Western hotels.
