Great hotel

For what we were charged, not worth the stay. The hotel and rooms are not up-kept well. Before arrival no one advised us that the pool would be closed for the entire week so we were not able to use it due to facade work being done. Breakfast had to be the only good highlight because the rest of the food was not good. Our key card kept being shut off almost daily which was very inconvenient and the garage staff was incredibly rude. The room was located right in front of the amenity area deck so we had no privacy. The bathroom in the room itself was not well cleaned before we arrived. Not worth the stay and will not be returning or recommending. The one highlight was the restaurant and bar staff, they were kind and very lovely people who were extremely attentive.

I am writing to report a serious incident that occurred at Hotel Movich Buró 51 Barranquilla involving my companion. Yesterday, at approximately 10:15 a.m., my companion became trapped inside the elevator for about 30 minutes. When the doors closed, they did so forcefully while my companion was in the middle, nearly causing a serious back injury. During this time, the elevator was moving erratically, going up and down abruptly, which created a very dangerous and distressing situation. There was no immediate assistance provided, which further increased the severity of the incident. This situation represents a serious safety concern, and it is unacceptable for such an event to occur on your property. I kindly request that this matter be investigated urgently and that you inform me of the corrective actions that will be taken to prevent this from happening again. I look forward to your prompt response.

This is a top notch establishment. The staff is extra friendly and extremely helpful. The facilities are immaculate. The breakfast was amazing, the pool and the Jacuzzi are relaxing, and the sauna and steam room are of high-quality. I really enjoyed my stay here and anytime I come back to Barranquilla this will be my stay. I can’t see enough of this place, this is definitely the place you wanna stay hands-down.

The hotel lobby was beautiful and the staff were excellent. The food at the restaurant was delicious. However, this hotel was very musty which left everything in the room damp. They tried their best to have fans in the hallway but the dampness would just not go away.

Good rooms with good beds, good size. Good Front desk service (Especially Kary) service in general is good. Good Spa! But the gym is horrible unclean, super small, a sauna and a joke that should not exist. The pool is small and currently in reconstruction. Breakfast is just ok!

The hotel room would lose power, hallways were extremely hot, my husband had to fix the toilet because it wouldn’t flush properly every time I had to use the toilet in the room

El bar tiene demasiadas fiestas. Demoran demasiado en atender. Un trago demoró media hora, la comida 40 minutos más. Salvo algunas excepciones, personal poco capacitado y con mala disposición.

Wonderful staff and location.

The staff is excellent all around, however, the building and especially the rooms need fixing or renovations. The pool needs serious renovations. The restaurant and food are excellent.
