Great location and wonderful staff!

Overall the hotel is according to the price. It has a great location, close to downtown. Be aware there is no elevator. It gets a bit loud in the morning, from people talking in the hallway and nearby. The staff was nice and helpful.

The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown, and the Mercado Aldama. There are great restaurants, ice cream shops and bakeries nearby. The A/C was definitely a needed amenity due to the hot days. The Barrio of San Juan de Dios is just a few blocks away and is where you’ll experience some of the best pozole, enchiladas, and pizza. We have stayed at Hotel Othelo on several trips and find it to fit our needs. The staff is always accommodating and very informative. Gracias Othelo!

Great place, very attractive, with an easy walk to the historic center of Leon. I loved the decor, ambient lighting, and architecturally pleasing design - especially the room ceiling. Everything was perfect except the lack of an elevator and some confusion about breakfast; my son went for food an hour before it closed but say's he didn't see anything to eat.

In a great area, safe to walk and lots of options to eat. The only thing is if you need an elevator they don't have one.

A very nice hotel in Leon. Very centrally located. The only drawback was that there was no elevator. Other than that, a very nice place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.

The room didn't have any towels. Did ask for some and they looked very old. The bed spread was stained. The hotel in general didn't look clean.

The property was very well kept and the staff were all attentive and extremely polite. Special thanks to Cady and Lucy for their kindness and suggestions for local sites to visit. The breakfast although light was very tasty and more than sufficient to get your day started. I only wish coffee or hot water was readily available throughout the day.

A lovely room with wonderful service..great location!

We stayed 2 nights. We arrived an hour early for our check-in and were kindly greeted and given a room. The room though, was not very comfortable. The bed and pillows were lame and the shower was a disaster.(Room X)

There was a mix up up at check in. I thought I paid for all accommodation before my trip. On arrival I was asked to pay again. I did not expect this since all other hotel reservations on this trip were paid in advance with money collected by Expedia. Awkward! The bed sheets were rumpled and flung on in a haphazard fashion on arrival. I wasn't sure if they were changed so had to confirm with the staff member working on another room. The boutique hotel is beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful at reception. More attention should be taken in cleaning rooms in between guests. Thanks.
