On arrival we found out this hotel is mainly used for coach holidays.Bit of a Butlins break about the place. Room was very small and looked down into a yard full of beer barrels. At 7am every morning,a large steel extractor coming from kitchen burst into life and was so loud we had to shut the windows. In the bathroom the sink was damaged from something heavy being dropped onto it The shower was so small you couldn't bend down In the restaurant at breakfast,I asked where the croissant etc were.Head waiter looked bemused and the same when asked about fruit Would not recommend this hotel sorry

Not beach views as it's on a back street . room 208 needs painting on walls and a fan in bath room as you can not open windows as they are wooden windows and could not open. the staff was nice . the hotel needs alot of work to get up to todays 3 star rating.

I have to use a mobility and all the automatic door openers which keep them open so you could get through weren't working. The lift was very small and my medium sized scooter would only just fit in, if I removed the basket to get the doors to close.

Reasonably priced hotel in a good location. Just a short walk from the Spa and sea front and 15 mins to railway station.

Generally a good traditional hotel and staff were all helpful and friendly, BUT no lactose free milk available for those who have allergies.

A great hotel at a reasonable price. We were there on a Saturday and there was entertainment in the evening too. We had tickets to a concert, but it all seemed to be going well when we got back. Staff were great. Parking on-site for £6 per day. Room was lovely and beds comfy. Woyld recommend

Pleasant hotel, seems to be aimed at groups and coach tours but it was fine for a one night stay. Good spacious room. Bathroom ok - shower was a bit lack lustre and could have done with a lot more pressure but again, it was fine for a one night stay. We parked on the Esplanade for free and walked to the hotel (about 10 minutes) but there is a car park at the back of the hotel too if you don't mind paying. Overall a good stay for a good price. We paid extra for breakfast which was pretty good but if we stayed again, we would probably eat at the Rowntree Lodge cafe next door.
