We had an amazing stay!

This property worked very well for our April trip to the Outer Banks. The main selling points were: (1) Great accommodation for two adults and two teens. We had a unit with a living/dining area and kitchen, a master bedroom, and a separate loft room up a flight of steps, which gave the teens their own space. (2) There’s an indoor pool that we wanted in case the weather didn’t turn out to be good during our stay. The property isn’t on the beach, but a few mins drive will take you to the hotel’s own parking lot which is very close to the beach. The parking lot was usually empty when we went - it may be very busy in peak summer thought. There isn’t a restaurant onsite, which at first I thought was odd, but then realized that you don’t really need it with all the options nearby. Overall, this was a great base for our trip. The weather turned out to be excellent, but we still enjoyed using the pool and hot tub in the evenings.

I booked this as a last minute family trip since the weather was too cold for the beach to play at this hotels indoor waterpark. The waterpark was closed our entire stay. No discount or even offer to use a sister hotels indoor pool. Additionally, when booking the listing said breakfast was included. It is not.

I noted in my reservation I wanted a ground unit but when I checked in the lady never mentioned it so I had to bring it up and she said there was nothing available and they were all sold out. I noticed a lot of empty parking spots when I drove around? I stayed there years ago and pool area had a slide and a kiddy play area the slide was gone and the kiddy area was roped off also the locker rooms were out of order so we had to go out in the cold with wet clothes on. I wish all that was stated on the website because I would have stayed elsewhere for a lot cheaper then what I paid

We had a great time! No complaints at all!! Very clean, so much to do at the hotel, every staff member we met was so friendly and helpful, they texted you everyday checking in and seeing if they could do anything to make your stay better. The concierge service was so helpful with restaurants and attractions. Would love to come back in the future.

Super clean, everywhere - in their facilities and in the rooms. Room obviously had newer flooring, furniture and fixtures, but the structure, hvac, and showers desperately need updating. Room had a musty smell, likely from the age of the building and the old hvac vents and piping. Thats really my only complaint. Beds and furniture were comfy, the amenities - their quality and abundance - were outstanding. Towels were actually soft, as was the toilet paper. Customer service was above and beyond. Really neat place, would stay again. Private back gate where you can drive straight to the beach and a hotel owned parking lot next to beach access.

Great place for friends and families

Beautiful property with great amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was great except 3 small issues. Used bandaid on dresser next to remote control, room smelled like paint, and refrigerator did not properly cool anything. Aside from that, the stay was incredible. I’ll definitely recommend and visit again.

It doesn't feel quite like a nice resort as you drive up since it is behind a Walmart. Also, we planned on cooking a lot in our hotel room. There are minimal pots and pans and we had to buy a griddle. The indoor pool was a big hit with my kids. We will definitely go back!

The facilities were well maintained and conveniently located. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Every effort was made to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Our family enjoyed it all. My children especially enjoyed the pool! We definitely will want to come back.

This property is under renovations still and has great potential. The unit we stayed in had floors that were soft, some mold issues and it was not well taken care of.

Stayed to celebrate my daughter’s 4th birthday. They were so accommodating, nice and attentive. The rooms, lodge, splash zone and arcade were all clean, family friendly, spacious and comfortable. I cant wait to stay again!!!

Check in was easy, room was spacious and clean. Had all of the items needed to make it comfortable. Pool and arcade was fun. Receptionist at the pool area could’ve been a little more pleasant, but other than that it was a good experience.

Very clean. The indoor pools where nice and spacious. The unit was beautiful and plenty of space for the 10 of us. Pricing was great.
