The Ibis De Haan is in a very quiet location about 1.5km outside the town and you can walk or drive to the beach. Breakfast is good with hot and cold offerings. We were lucky to have good weather and enjoy breakfast outside. The hotel was full and the staff worked hard to keep on top of everything - excellent. We did enjoy some drinks in the bar and had good information from reception about where to park in Bruges. The room was a little small for 2 with very little hanging and storage space and the aircon tended to turn itself off. But all in all, we had a good time. We didn't use the swimming pool bit it looked good.

Quiet location, lots of free parking, beach nearby and forest walks. Very welcoming reception staff and free easter chocolate a lovely touch. Room was quiet, clean and spacious. However there is no kettle in the room, no iron and the towels seemed very old and needing replaced with better quality. Great staff all around and breakfast caters for all tastes, especially9 loved the make your own waffles.

The first thing that I find crazy is you are charged €15 a night to park your car. This is out of season and as a hotel guest I find this unreasonable and too expensive. Hotel room was comfortable with a good bed but poor pillows. Great shower. Corridor outside my room and by the lift with filthy from the time I arrived to when I left.

Good for a stopover night.

A lovely quiet hotel. A little off the beaten track and not on a main road. So I had a very good night sleep. The building and facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use it again.

An 11 minute walk to the beach. This property is away from the town, has its own pool. The breakfast was good with outside seating

Very nicely situated hotel. In very nice grounds and good parking. Room a little small but no problem for the three nights that we stayed. Space for hanging clothes was not good. No Tea and coffee making facilities In the room which should be standard in any room.

Location was great, staff was awesome. The Wi-Fi only “reached” certain rooms and the beds were rock hard.

Have stayed once before and loved the setting of hotel, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms and. bathrooms are spotless and would use ibis again if this there standard

This was our second stay at the Ibis, this time we came with our son and his fiancée. We all love visiting Belguim and I particularly like the ibis as once we arrive I can park the car up and use the local tram. However be aware it does require a brisk ten to fifteen minute walk, so maybe not for the elderly, also if you miss the tram you have to wait another twenty minutes until the next one and the stop is remote. We managed to visit Brugges and Ghent via Blankenberge on the tram and train and De Haan and Oostende by tram.

Modern building, nice staff. Beautiful surroundings and easy to get to De Haan from the hotel even if it is not central.

An expensive hotel surrounded by static caravans which spoil the view. The pizza I ate was tasty and of a reasonable size, which it should have been for €15. Overall I have nothing negative to say, the room was large and clean, the shower was good but the price of the hotel and food is high considering it is in the middle of nowhere and the view is very average.
