Our top pick to stay in the Billund area on our annual visit. It’s perfect for families with Lego stations around the hotel and a great recently renovated playground in the hotel park area. The food is great with excellent good quality kids options from the kitchen that serves tasty traditional Danish inspired dishes.

Our family stay at Hovborg Kro every summer while we visit Legoland and Lego House. We just love this place. Not only is it very family friendly but it’s also a great place to experience traditional Danish food and hospitality culture. The staff is friendly, rooms clean and functional, the food is tasty and the breakfast buffet is huge. No one leaves hungry here! Kids love the playground, garden and cosy corners where they can build Lego.

You fell at home when coming to Hovborg. They have this great waiter who came from Zealand and now lives a a farm nearby. He goes a long way to make you fell at home.

We have been there several times. We love this place. It is central for a lot of different tours in the region. And we love the restaurant with the good wine from Brunellis wineyard and realy nice food. We will come again. A satisfied Family from Hornbæk

Har bott ett flertal gånger på just det här hotellet och jag kommer att återkomma. Bra rum, fint och rent. Rent och fräscht i dusch och toalett. Trevlig personal, hjälpsamma och glada. Maten i restaurangen är vällagad och god, stort urval av rätter. Det finns nått för alla. Dryckeslistan har allt man kan önska. Frukosten på hotellet har vad man behöver. Inget varmt som äggröra och bacon, pannkakor med sylt och grädde, men det är inte heller en typisk dansk frukost. Hovborg är ett litet trevligt samhälle, det finns inte så mycket mer än en välfylld affär, en fiskbutik och möjligheten att fiska. Men samhället är välväxt en promenad, det finns en storpark en jättefin kyrka, när det är mer vår, finns det gott om fina blommor i pittoreska trädgårdar.
