Never recommend bad service

Good stay to enjoy the local people at the pub on the first floor. People tended to stay to themselves here and there wasn't much to do around the hostel but other than that it's a great place to stay.

The price of the nights stay didn't not reflect what I was given. The place was dirty, full of cobwebs. Furniture was broken and the room was cold. For £52 for one night? It was an absolute rip off

The only good thing about this place was the breakfast.

When I went to this hostel, I didn’t expect a good hostel because it was the cheapest one in the city, however i got more disappointed day by day in the 3 nights i spent there. I checked in on Thursday and they gave me a bed. I left some stuff there and I went to the city centre. When I came back someone had been sleeping in my bed and my stuff was in another bed. He apologised because someone from the staff have given the same bed... The next day I left some stuff and went out, when I came back another guy was sleeping there. I went to talk with the receptionist and he apologized because he’d given me the wrong bed and the housekeeper had put my things not in “lost properties” in a different place... when I went to my new bed, someone was there. I came back to reception and he didn’t know what had happened and just gave me a bed like “choose any”. The next day, on Saturday, i went to talk with the receptionist because i was still missing some stuff and the new guy didn’t know anything about my things. When I told him about the situation he apologised, but he was trying to convince that i was in a wrong bed, not my assigned bed through the system, when he went to the room, there was someone sleeping in my bed... the last day I was so worried to find a new guy in my bed, again. To sum up, I don’t recommend this place. If you think my experience doesn’t have importance, the cleanliness in all the facilities will kick you out. BTW, there is no refund policy.

The saff and location are nice but facilities and cleaness are disappointing. People will be fine for choosing this hotel putting importance on only location and fees.

This hostel is inside (above) a pub which gives a nice and relaxed atmosphere. If you just want a place to sleep, a hot shower and maybe a bit more then this is it. You have friendly staffs there at this hostel. It's a good value for the money. I will stay here again when I return to London UK next time.

My experience was disappointing. Facilities were not good although I had only one night stay so I can't say much about it or I don't need to say much but my experience was not that good. I am sure other people had better experiences there.

I had a great time!! I'd forgotten my phone charger too and was delighted that they were some spare chargers I could borrow while I was there yay love how cheap it was too but I was just a little surprised that you had to go right outside into the Dorm room and that there didnt seem to even be a toilet in there meaning you'd have to go right out in the middle of the night say if you needed the loo ugh glad it wasnt raining!!

The staff Mike is very good. He helped lot in some best apps to be downloaded for London visit.

Turned down because they claimed they have an upper age limit of 40. This should be reflected boldly on the site so no one older than 40 will bother to book. Terrible experience

It was okay. The bar us nice and the beds are comfy but it's a bit dingy to be honest. For a couple if nights I think it's fine, but I wouldn't live there as some people seem to do. There are no mirrors on the toilets which are quite small and a bit grim anyway. Haven't used the shower there so can't say. The security code for the dorm is hardly ever useful because the door seems to be constantly open, which us why I also wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my stuff unattended in the room full of strangers because the security at the hostel is quite questionable. But at the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

Not the nicest or newest hostel but the staff is great. The location was excellent. They could invest more time cleaning the common areas.

Well it's a local bar n pub. Hostel is not the main business..but yes I got a very budget accommodation.

The place is friendly and relatively nice! The staff is great. Pretty cramped rooms

Keep on mind it's a hostel and you are sharing a room with a bunch of strangers from around the world! So if you can put up with snoring and maybe some B.O, you will be fine! Besides that, the staff were like family! Matt from the bar/front desk was phenomenal! Treated everyone like old friends! Great place for late night drinks as well and to meet new friends!

The shower needs to remove mold! The staff was friendly with new sheets, but they charged 4 pound for a towel!

Need to improve the bed but everything else is perfect. the hostel is in city and everything is close by and very friendly staff

This was my worst experience ever, bed bug infested rooms, bad mannered bar attendants , the girl was very rude and the man as well , I will write them up again & again until the get their act together. On yelp and online .
