Property was okay. Bedrooms okay and clean but bathroom very small and dated. Excellent location but no parking on property although there is a local car park up the hill and around the corner.

It was convenient, but the parking, tho free, isn't quite as implied. You can't park at the property, but there are 2 car parks with free parking for up to 24 hours with no return in less than 4 hours. It was also mostly very clean. However, I dropped the top from an ointment while in the toilet/shower room. It went under what turned out to be a space under a cupboard and the shower which was such that I let the top remain wherever it was.

On arrival we turned the quilt back and noticed there were a few black hairs on the sheets and pillow case. We thought they had not been changed. The owner thought it must of been from the laundry and came and changed them within ten minutes. Very friendly and the location is excellent, we were given advice on the best places to eat and drink which was very helpful. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay again, well worth what they charged nice and cosy. Shower was a little small but did the job, and the bed was comfy and we had a good night sleep. Thanks.

No one greeted us on arrival or asked how our stay had been on departure. The shower in the bathroom could have been cleaner and a few cobwebs removed. Guesthouse is situated in a lovely area of the town. There was no breakfast provided and we used the free parking around the corner.

The room was very tired and in desperate need of updating. Damp issue and broken furniture. Terrible quality bathroom. The shower fell off the wall!

We only booked for 1 night as we had a reservation at our relatives new Restaurant (Efes Turkish Grill House) and didnt want to drive home.... room old fashioned in need of update.... Was disssppointed not to see any staff on arrival but when i rang owner she was very polite (we had a communication break down) which was of no fault to guest house....it is classed as a B B but there was no breakfast available.... Room was very small,bed was comfy clean..... Not gonna be to picky but could do with better clean as cobwebs about windowsill (where tray with tea,coffee supplies was sitting) was very dusty. Room seemed warm enough when arrived but after night out we came back to cold room even though heating was on....rating 3/5....

Beautiful accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Great location. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and large room. Sofa bed dirty and bedding on main bed generally didn't appear clean (brown stains). Room itself generally not very clean e.g. mugs needed washing.

Good communication with Tracy Great location for town centre Plenty of free parking near by, walking distance to the Castle Room was fifthy, dirty carpets, bed dirty/dusty, luke warm water, in need of a refurb and deep clean, no toiletries and towels are worn thin, suggest to use your own Over priced for a room poor standards Would return if we had another room that was clean

The guest house was very central and it was handy for the hub restaurants cafes and bus station. A wee but run down but the bed was very comfortable. Very adequate. I stayed 3 nights

Excellent location

The lady was very helpful with a text telling us what to do and including a list of places for dinner and breakfast but I personally don't like not being welcomed by a person. The room was adequate but the en-suite was very lacking. The shower had a crack in the tray the doors didn't stay shut and the handbasin was totally inadequate. The tap was too large and the basin too small so you couldn't wash your face and the plug didn't fit so the water didn't stay. Sorry, we felt it was very overpriced for what you got.

Extremely convenient to Alnwick Castle. Very nice host

The apartment was perfect! It has clean toilets and kitchen with kitchen items. it is very comfortable with the couch in the sitting area.

Rooms could have been cleaner, e.g. considerable grime around the sink. Shower drain was blocked, meaning that bathroom was susceptible to flooding.

Only parking for 2 cars but Tracy was very helpful in giving location of 2 public car parks nearby. Excellent location to walk into town and the Castle and gardens
