A nice, well-located hotel with slightly inconvenient room features such as a closet that didn't accommodate longer garments, water that took 10+ minutes to heat for the shower, a mattress pad that may have been made of plastic that made annoying an annoying sound when shifting in the bed. Kind staff, interesting rooms, surprise welcome gifts. No bottled water in rooms (even to purchase) there was a vase with purified water that guests could use which made me question how often the vase was washed between guests. Breakfast was nice (included for a colleague who booked locally, but not for me despite our rates being the same or perhaps mine was a bit higher). I wouldn't necessarily recommend for business, but the staff is nice and it's well located in Polanco.

The Wild Oscar has pleasant staff, is in a convenient location, and is incredibly clean. However, some consistent inconveniences keep me from giving it 5 stars. Upon check-in, I was surprised to be informed that the hotel was placing a 7,000 pesos hold on my credit card to put towards using the facilities like the on-site restaurant and spa. This was a total surprise to me as it was never communicated at any point in the booking process or in the communication I had with the hotel prior to checking in. Also, the design of our Superior room had some serious flaws that kept us from having the best experience possible. The bathroom lacked a place to hang our towels to dry and when you open the bathroom door, you have millimeters worth of space between the sink and the door, which led to me jamming my hand between the sink and the door and injuring myself. Also, on two occasions, housekeeping failed to replace either our hand towels or one of our bathrobes. In conclusion, the Wild Oscar is a solid travel option but there are some flaws.

We had a great week at the wild oscar. Clean, quiet and pleasant. All the staff is very professional and helpful. Our breakfasts were great as well as the other meals we had there. We plan to come back.

Nice boutique hotel with spacious rooms. Notes: Shower takes a long time for water to heat up, no pressure. Room is nice and quiet, but very dark. Mattress on firm side. Can smell dinner and breakfast from below. Staff attentive and room service/onsite restaurant excellent. Excellent location with many offers for dinner, walks.

Excellent place, perfectly located. Polanco for a wonderful and really safe trip in CDMX. The boutique hotel is discreet and very clean. Nice design and comfortable beds.

Great location

Cute hotel in Polanco. There’s a great rooftop for those nice evenings. The rooms are large and well decorated. Really modern. The bathroom is big too. Shower is nice but the water takes some time to warm up. You can get filtered water from the restaurant right downstairs. As others have mentioned, the doors aren’t really soundproof so at night can hear doors and people in the hallways. The hotel is relatively quiet but perhaps a bigger issue during high season. Nonetheless, the hotel is great, and front desk was also helpful. You can also borrow a large umbrella if needed. Overall great stay!
