I felt I was being dealt with rather than treated as a guest during check-in and out procedures. The amenities were okay; there were only a few bathrooms for many people, and one didn't even work. This is the first hostel I've seen with a kitchen, and no one can use it. I couldn't even fill up my water bottle. Its location is excellent, and it's decent enough if you're only using it to sleep.

Good stay. Basic place so if you’re looking for fancy not a place for you but amazing location and I felt like it was a good price for basic.

Perfect location, horrible bright white room that feels like there is a 300w bulb shining in your face the moment the sun comes up. Didn’t care for the baggage policy of charging 5€ for bags left after 2pm

Spent over $450/night & room has no toilet and bath. Next room snoring was so loud and bkfst was sucks!!!

Room was clean and near city center which was convenient to all of the city action. The place was a challenge to find but once found never forgotten.

Location is but the noise from other guest kept me up. The common area supposed to be for breakfast but several guests use them as socializing spot, until 10:45 pm, I had to come out to lower their voices. Shouldn't they be going out to restaurant or bar to socialize? Hotel is nice, friendly staff.

The hotel is located in the city center close to all attractions and the staff are friendly, here ends all the good things about this hotel. The room was very small, and it is on the first floor however the window is almost on the street so you can hear people walking and talking outside all night. You can also hear anything happening in the other rooms as sound insulation is very poor. Breakfast is poor as well. The value of money compared to what you get is not worth it. Disappointed from everything except location and staff!

Close proximity to the main sites,about a 20 minute walk to the train station.staff could be more friendlier.more facilities would be nice.unfair that you have to pay a penalty of ten euros if you arrive after 7pm.Not much you can do if you flight is after this time.

Extremely difficult to find. Very poor signage, and it is in a building with other businesses. Embarrassingly meager excuse for breakfast. Not very helpful, and often downright mean staff. Pitch black in the hallways when you come back at night, no lights in the hallways at all. Try to upsell you for everything. Additional fee to check in after 7pm. Dont expect any soap or shampoo, it is in a vending machine. I'm pretty easy going, and dont expect alot. But this place was a bad experience from beginning to end.

DO NOT STAY AT IS CASTELLO. I have been in Italy for thirteen weeks and this was truly the worst place I stayed. The service is terrible. You know how the website says there are croissants, cappuccino, and omelets on request? That's a lie. You get a thin piece of white toast and an apple. When the woman next to me asked for a second piece of toast, she was met with "only one per person." And even worse, when I was in Bologna I fainted in the street and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance, making me late to pick up my bags. When I got back to the hotel and explained what happened, did they ask me how I was doing? Express sympathy? Nope, they didn't say a thing, but told me I had to pay the 5 euro late fee for not picking up my bags on time. And lest you think, oh, maybe it was a communication issue, nope. The hosts appear to speak better English than Italian. I wouldn't have much to complain about with regard to the infrastructure itself, it's clean and the neighborhood is great, but the decor is weird. There was barely anything in the room except a giant (I'm talking 1 meter by 2 meter) headshot of a woman looking down on you like she's Jesus or the dictator of some small Latin American country. It was creepy. All night long.

È un ostello, camera condivisa mista, letto a castello. C'è un'area comune con caricabatterie e attacchi USB anche in camera, e WiFi. Ci sono ben tre bagni, sono in comune, ma più che sufficienti
