Easy to reach and close to hiking trails

Our room was furnished with odd bits of furniture. Run with barely any staff, our room was never cleaned (three night stay). The pool area was poor with cobwebs and weeds coming up through the floor in the changing rooms. Garden area is overgrown, nothing like the website photo. It was a relief to leave.

Nice oldest traditional place. Bedroom for two was nice with large tiled roomy bathrooms

Wonderful old inn needs serious updating; hvac, water heaters, interior work. Staff outstanding! Facility needs attention. Barbizon a wonderful stop.

Such a rare beauty. A lovely place to stay, steeped in art and culture. Food for the soul.

Lovely hotel in beautiful village, nice pool, our room smelt a bit mouldy and could do with a refresh.

Very nice hotel and accomodations were good. However, the shower was wierd with one side fully opened. When the shower wand was placed in the holder facing the wall it spun around and sprayed the whole bathroom. I think they said it was and "Italian" style shower. Also, the listing shows parking available. We had to park on the street because when we arrived from a late night the 2 small lots were full.

Amazing quiet property with a history.

Very pleasant stay, 2 nights. Breakfast eaten on the balcony which was lovely and very complete. Dinner on the terrace was very tasty Wifi signal could be improved, as was a bit slow. Reception desk need to be sharper and better prepared ( confused what was prepaid and then error in # of nights)

The property is antique in nature without being shoddy. A pleasant place to stay in a lovely community a short driving distance from Fontainebleau.

First stay at this hotel and the beautiful village of Barbizon. We had a very good time and the staff made us and Rosie the dog, so welcome. We dined in the restaurant, which was outstanding. One room had been organised to accommodate a recent knee operation, but also give easy access to the garden for the dog. It was an excellent stop over on our journey down to the Auvergne. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely lunch in a beautiful patio made the stay very calming. Nice staff.

Hôtel à fuir absolument ! Le service est inexistant et le personnel particulièrement désagréable. Les chambres manquent cruellement de propreté car le ménage n'est pas fait. Le petit-déjeuner à 21 € par personne est une honte : les produits sont tous surgelés. Pour couronner le tout, la piscine était sale et fermée en raison d'une mauvaise qualité de l'eau. Passez votre chemin !

Aucun soucis avec la personne qui nous a accueillis, cependant la chambre était en mauvais état. Mal équipée pour la prestation (chambre deluxe)

Accueillant, bien situé en centre ville près de tout

L’entretien des chambres n’est plus réalisé depuis un bail je pense Peinture écaillé, moisissure, fuite d’eau douteuse dans les toilettes. Climatisation capricieuse et qui s’arrêtait après 20 minutes par 5 dégrée dehors . En gros chambre inchauffable ( pb réglé sous 24h ) Tarif demandé bien au dessus des prestations… Point positif : Literie au top ! J’ai super bien dormis
