Enjoyed my stay. Very attentive and friendly host. Breakfast is really good.

Ideal location, near Negombo Beach. Owner & all staff very friendly & work hard to make everything go smoothly. Lovely breakfast every day.

Manager was very helpful and advised on a local restaurant which turned out to be very good. In a quiet area away from main road - about 10 mins walk to beach.

I am just starting my Sri Lanka adventure and I cannot recommend enough Villa Kapuru. It is a small Villa run by SriLankan and Irish men who take in rescue dogs and cats so they can be treated with love and kindness. The Villa is a short walk to the beach and restaurants and has both a pool and air conditioning, very important in the Sri Lankan heat ☀️ It was quiet for sleeping, had a tasty breakfast and was exceptionally clean! Their partner restaurant is also highly recommended - I had the best chicken curry ever!

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Kapuru! The staff are really friendly and helpful, they even did some washing for us during our quick stay! So many cats and dogs around the property which were happy and friendly. Very close walk to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Wi-Fi reception wasn’t the greatest and the aircon in our room was very noisy at times but didn’t really affect our stay too much and we would definitely recommend if staying in Negombo!

I am allergic to cats and dogs and most of all mosquitoes.so this hotel is not for me.

The hotel has lot of cats and mosquitoes. That’s why we don’t get out from our room esp. late the evening and early morning…the staff are friendly and helpful.

Outstanding stay for the price point. Super clean and comfortable room, sufficient breakfast, and lovely animals to welcome you. Staff arranged airport pickup and a driver for our trip to Sigiriya. Thank you! Didn’t get a chance to use the pool but did lounge in the common areas, which was great as the breeze was coming across the canal. This place is quaint and absolutely lovely. Only negative thing is that some light bulbs were burnt out in the common areas and hallway, making it a little difficult to read! Still a 5 star review. Easy to walk to the beach and main road for shopping and eating.

Great stay and very friendly owner

This is a small hotel very close to the beach, shops and restaurants which are only a 5min walk or tuk tuk away. Rooms and facilities are good with air conditioning. Lovely Sri Lankan breakfast starts the day and a pool to chill out. We stayed 1 night as it is close to the airport.

Excellent property in a great location. The pool is wonderful. Amazing breakfast! Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Highly recommend

Well run guesthouse with helpful staff. Lovely backwater aspect from our room. Watched monitors, kingfishers, loads of birds. Lots of cats, and 2 dogs- all well kept and no trouble. Nice pool to cool off. Good position one street away from shops, restaurants etc. Quiet spot.

Great personality in its owners and staff. Lovely place to relax and not feel pressured to be away during the day. I needed some down time.

The hotel is in a good location to nearby cafe/restaurants, and the airport. The rooms are basic, but perfectly fine for a few days. The owner is really friendly and also owns a restaurant nearby (which we got 10% off food bill). Nice pool with communal areas.

The staff went out of their way to help with assist with any problems. Especially helpful was a blanket to cope with an a/c at nights.

If you're looking to recreate your high-end Western-standard hotel experience, this is not the place. If you want a pleasant, quiet place to stay where everything works, this is for you. No surprises here except a great breakfast. I suggest you get a room facing the pool and the beautiful garden. The beach and many nice bars and restaurants are within an easy walk. This is a great place to stay to make sure you catch your flight from Bandaranaike Airport.
