Great location right on the lake in the middle of town. Breakfast was great and office staff very friendly. We booked a room overlooking lake with a balcony but rarely used it as it was too hot and there is no cover/umbrella for shade. Other than that it was good.

Perfect location

Upon checking in, I informed the staff there was an extra room booked in error due to an Expedia account issue. Hotel refused to help at all. Disappointing customer service, I wouldn’t recommend. Really too bad given I booked four months in advance for our wedding trip.

Excellent choice for Ascona

Absolutely fantastic. The rooms are beautiful. Lakeview is gorgeous. I would stay here again without any hesitation. 5 stars all the way around.

Super Lage direkt an der Promenade. Viele Restaurants, Bars etc. in der Nähe. Frühstück mit viel Auswahl inklusive. Unser Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten. Balkon mit Blick auf See war topp.

I booked this hotel very last minute. It is amazing. We chose a room with a view of the lake with a balcony. Certainly worth it. The location is perfect for restaurants walking and the ferry. The room is comfortable. Loved it!

The hotel provided us with a lovely room with a wonderful balcony that provided a fantastic view of the lake. The staff was consistently helpful, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely come back.

The staff at the reception and at the Riva restaurant were amazing.The breakfast was still great.If you need public parking , mainly at Autosilo Comunale Ascona, or any public parking , be aware that the City of Ascona does not offer to canadians or us residents the 6 francs rebate for 24hours, so you will pay 24 francs and not 18 francs.On the previous stays the hotel use to offer a rebate, but no more.So,I think the hotel shoud say something or do something about it as is also a matter of principle.Why I could not get the same rebate as EU or UK visitors ?

We loved our balcony room. The amenities are a great value and you cannot beat the location if you are staying in Ascona. We also loved the bar downstairs!

Lovely location right on the water. The reception desk closes at 8 pm, I arrived after reception closed but thankfully they were able to arrange for me to get a key when I arrived. Great breakfast.

Modernised and well presented small hotel with beautiful lake views. Breakfast slightly average. We ended up booking here because most hotels around Orta and Maggiore booked dated and basic.

This is a very tasteful hotel. The staff is amazing and very helpful. I love the set up. My only concern was that the rooms are mot properly isolated, which means that I could hear what happens in the adgaisant rooms - sadly my neighbors were very very loud and the volume of their tv a lot higher than normal. So, no negative comments about the hotel. I had a nice single room with a view to the lake.

The room was clean and big enough for one night. I found the Mattress to be very very very hard. I mentioned this to the receptionist and she said that they have soft toppers available. How would I know or find out about it? Reception closed at 20.00H I would not call this a Boutique style Hotel, it does not have that cozy feel of what I would call a "Boutique style" Hotel. Also: The Hotel is located in the Pedestrian zone, so it is quite a hassle getting to the Hotel and dropping your luaggage off. Parking is, if reserved at a Parkinglot a bit away from the Hotel.

Great location and good food.

We've been to Ascona many times now, but wanted to have lakeview at the lakefront. Our room was in one of the buildings a little further away than we thought, but we still had a decent view of the lake. Unfortunately it was very windy, so we didn't spend much time on the balcony. The room had a good size, was clean and the receptionists were friendly and helpful.

I stayed in the lake view room which was beautiful. Could recommend maybe a coffee/ tea station which would have been nice to have while sitting out on the balcony.
