My experience at this resort was unfortunately underwhelming. The elevators were a constant source of frustration, closing too quickly and making it difficult to load and unload luggage. Despite a posted warning, holding the doors open seemed to be the only way to avoid getting trapped or leaving items behind.
Upon entering our room, we noticed signs of mold on the ceiling, which was quite concerning. The dishes in the kitchenette appeared unwashed, with visible spots and even remnants of food from previous guests. While the parking garage was adequate, it felt a bit tight for our mid-size SUV.
The most alarming incident occurred at the Soggy Dog Pool Grill and Bar. Our waitress disappeared after taking our order, and after a while, we found her passed out behind the counter. With no staff or security in sight, I had to call 911. Although she eventually regained consciousness, the experience was extremely unsettling and left me feeling unsafe.
Overall, this resort fell short of expectations in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and staff attentiveness. The safety concerns I experienced were particularly troubling. Based on my stay, I would not recommend this resort.
