The staff is amazing and the rooms were clean. But my bed was literally like sleeping on a table. Also, my room had no closet or dresser, or anywhere to put my clothes. The hot water was spotty. It's a half step above a hostel. Fantastic location though. Restaurants, stores, bars, everything is right there.

Wonderful with a home's feel. It was at one time a home converted into personable small hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious, and beds are very comfortable, and the hotel has hi-speed wifi. The location is a magnet for tourists and while the area is very social and safe, the noise was not heard at night. With our room purchase, breakfast was included, which I recommend and my family cant thank enough the wonderful service we received from Susana, Jasmine, and Mildrace and the rest of staff. Highly recommend for budget conscious folks.

It's a nice small hotel in El Pablado. 2 minutes walking distance to Parque Lleras. Thus very centrally located. Many restaurants, cafes, shops etc. 15 minute walk from metro station. In the weekends it could be a bit noisy due to nightlife (loud music from bars nearby).

The hostal itself is nice. You cannot beat the location. Right in the heart of el Poblado. The room was nice and basic and extremely affordable. Good, hot water in the shower. The downside was the noise level. You can hear everything from the street, people coming in the lobby, conversations etc. Bring ear plugs. I did, and it was fine. The bed was also extremely hard. Usually this isn't a big deal to me but it was HARD- like harder than a futon, hard. Also, they have plastic under the sheets to protect the mattress, I guess but this made your backside sweat as if you were laying on a lawn chair. Otherwise this was a clean and cute, basic place to stay.

When we first got to the hotel we were put in a terrible room with now windows. It felt like we were in jail. I believe the room # was 101, don't stay in that room. It was stuffy and the toilet broke. We asked to switch rooms and they accommodated us with a more spacious room with a window and balcony thank goodness. That was much nicer.

Staff were friendly upon check in, however my expectation of the hotel failed!! Room was small and had a strong chemical smell (most likey from housekeeping). Almost unbearable!!! Bathroom was small and toilet blocked upon first use. I check into the hotel and checked out after only 1 hour!!! What would of been a three day stay, turned into a quick visit. Again, I cannot fault the staff, the hotel on the other hand was below average for me. If you have never been there, pay close attention to the hotel sign upon entering. The sign is made up of "PAPER" - cut out to resemble the title of the hotel. Medellin is beautiful, but this hotel lacks a lot!!

The location was excellent!! The hotel is surrounded by amazing restaurants, bars, shopping, parks, night life, public transportation. Couldn´t have asked for a better location. Our room was 210, second floor and to the back. It was very quiet especially given that there was so much action going on outside. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast that was included was simple but fine, scramble eggs, juice, coffee. I did opt for a budget friendly hotel so did not except it would be 4 stars. However, the room was pretty terrible. The room was super small but ok since we spent very little time in it. The bed was so hard and I mean hard. It literally felt like a solid surface with a quarter inch of foam over it. 2 very warn pillows. The a.c. didn´t work. It was cooler outside than in the room but we couldn´t leave the door open so we ran the a.c at night and never got any cool air. We did try every setting but never got it to work. A leak in the ceiling drenched my cloths which were left on the only, tiny shelf in the room. Toilet did not flush. Each use we attempted a number of times to flush it, finally leaving it for the cleaning staff to take care of it. Just fyi, the hot water was on the right, cold on the left in the shower. The bottom of the shower curtain was pretty nasty.
