I was there for 3 days in one room which was spacious comfortable and clean. When I came back for another day the room was clean but very small. I had to keep moving my bags to get around. What bothered me was that the price for both rooms was similar. One was worth more than the other. Otherwise my stay was excellent!

Great staff at front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, etc. So helpful and knowledgeable. We loved the room and breakfast was wonderful.

Beautiful place to stay!

A very nice stay but the room I stayed in was sad - both windows faced walls and it felt very claustrophobic. Only a shower no bath and very basic decor. Staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating always. I do wish my room was better appointed.

Great location with exceptional service

My stay was ok. It’s a lot pretty boutique hotel and the staff is excellent. The room however was dark, facing two stone walls and it felt crowded and sad to me.

Hotel Monte Cenci is in a great location within easy walking distance of all of the major Rome destinations, excelt for the Vatican. The hotel has great service and a high end atmosphere. We arrived at 10:30 AM, and since the previous guest in our room had already checked out, the manager had the maid clean our room right away so that we could check in after only a 30- minute wait in the lounge. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast in the rooftop bar area was very good with a variety of options in the buffet, thoughbit would have been nice if those options weren't identical everyday. The only downside that leads to my 4- star review was the space. The bedroom felt cramped with only about 3 feet (one meter) around each side of the bed. The bathroom could have been spacious except that they crammed in an oversize soaking tub with a very wide edge that made it hard to step into for a shower and a bidet that caused the toilet to need to be position so close to the wall that the toilet seat would catch on the roll of toilet paper.

Loved the location to all dining and easy access to historical landmarks. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff is amazing and attentive. The lobby is small but nice. The rooms can use a redo. The walls look dirty even though it's just scuffing. The air conditioner makes too much noise and blows directly on the beds.

The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel was walking distance to the Jewish Quarter and Synagogue which was important to me . Parking was available but it was a couple of blocks away.

Wonderful stay here, we came in April and have been meaning to write a review. The location is superb, steps fro the Tiber river and Trastevere and walking distance to most of Romes splendid sights. The deluxe rooms had vaulted ceilings and palatial bathrooms. The concierge staff were welcoming and efficient and special thank you to Danielle our breakfast waiter who went out of his way to treat us like famaglia! This hotel is truely a hidden gem in our favorite city Roma!

Close to Ghetto and walkable to main historic sites.

The front desk staff were welcoming and so helpful with taxis, information about restaurants and everything. The breakfast on the rooftop was nice and the breakfast staff wonderful too. They were so sweet. The room was great. The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! The hotel was quiet, allowing us to get rest. There was also a bar downstairs and a nice lounge area with a TV downstairs. The location was close to the Tiber River and restaurants on the other side of the River. There was shopping close by and a convenient grocery store around the corner for incidentals like bottled water. We loved the staff and this hotel so much that we would definitely return if we come to Rome again! This cute boutique hotel had it all!
