The views from the hotel as well as the tranquillity of the location was truly amazing

Impossible to find, and staff were not clear about directions. Asked even the driver to find, he also could not.

Amazing location on top of a ridge so great views either side plus bonus of both sunset and sunrise. So tranquil. Staff were unbelievable - the most naturally pleasant and caring people I have ever met, from the manager/owner to the waiting staff, gardener, etc. Everyone felt genuinely lovely. Cannot describe just how impressed I was. They greeted us with leis, prepared special treats, and seemed so serene for their whole stay. They also arranged our trips to the Elephant Orphanage, Sigiriya, Minneriya etc with local driver Chami Kumara who was also a lovely man and a star. So patient and solicitous the whole time - and so calm in the face of the often hectic driving styles from the other vehicles! I would choose this hotel every time :)
