We scheduled two nights separately on a Wednesday night then again on Sunday night for layovers to Victoria Falls and Hoedspruit. The first night, we checked in on Wednesday and were told we had two bookings (two rooms for the two of us). I explained to the manager that we only booked one room and canceled the other months ago. She took the necessary steps to remove the other room from our stay and didn't cost us anything. I told her that we would return on Sunday and please be sure that we wont have the same issue when we return.
Well, Sunday came and we checked in with a different person/s at the front desk and had a double room booked again. I explained to them what had happened on Wednesday and was disappointed that we were going through this same issue all over again. Needless to say that they didn't give us a refund for the second room.
In addition to the hotel looking tired and somewhat old, we didn't get the proper service or number of towels in our room on Sunday and a few other minor issues.
