Good location near Taichung train station, walking distance On the opposite side of the famous Miyahara ice cream shop, you have to check in on the 2nd floor. Book a twin room for 2 people. The room is not big, but can be in the middle of a 26 inch suitcase. Convenient, clean, new. Shared with tea, coffee, can eat all day. Breakfast for the coupon to pick up the famous buns below the hotel. Delicious.

The place is near the train station and bus stops. Great location, clean and modern hotel, very helpful staff. The common area was a great place to hangout. The hotel also provides free brewed coffee and water 24/7. Internet was also good. We got two of the largest rooms and they were decently sized. Simple and functional. The neighboring streets had 7-11 and Family Mart which was convenient for late night needs. While across the accommodation was the famous Miyahara restaurant. We really loved our stay at Shin Sei Bashi.

We were lucky to have the entire dorm room to ourselves. The unexpected privacy made our stay more comfortable. But even if we were sharing the space with other dormers, the place would have still been comfortable as it was spacious. Add to that, the place is near the train station. Great for moving around the city and nearby attractions.
