Really friendly host's and atmosphere with great food, the mixed grill was amazing, the breakfast was freshly cooked really set me up for the day. Will definitely be staying here again.

Barry and Corrine made us feel very welcome on arrival. The property was very well laid out and the decor and furnishings were pleasant. Our room was nice and cosy. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. We will be returning.

The owners are very welcoming and nothings to much trouble.Lovely walk along the river.Food was good and not overpriced.The local area is a bit isolated and rundown.

Beautiful relaxing stay from start to finish , to point didn't want to leave . Was made extremely welcome by the hosts , pleasant food evening meals and breakfast . Great selection of evening food . Well stocked bar . Room very tired perfect temperature not over hot Great location to travel around local area . Even saw the Royal Fly pass for kings birthday travel to the troop of colours for the kings flying from local RAF Coningsby home of the Lancaster Bomber. We will be back Oh fabulous Royal Carpet 😉

No major problems with the hotel. Host was very friendly and room acceptable. Only gripe was the shower controls, difficult to get the temperature right and watrr pressure which of course is not cotrollable by the hotel.

Second time of staying here. Warm welcome, good drink, good food and a very comfy bed. Looking for an excuse to stay again.

I would have given this property a 5 star review apart from the poor operation of the shower and toilet in our room.It maybe been due to low water pressure but the shower took at least 3or 4 minutes of running the water for it to get hot and it had no power .The toilet had a week flush and it took an age for the flush system to refill. However all other aspects of our stay were excellent.

I turned up early thinking it was a village pub and I could have some lunch. Car park was shut and the owners were painting and told me that I could not come till four which meant a 3 hour wait. In disgust, I turned round and drove home 4 hours away. Asked for a partial refund and nothing was forthcoming..Will never set for in that place again
