Good stay. Off the hwy, easy to find. Great sleep!

Little old school motel, super friendly caretakers , very clean

The owners were lovely & very quick to help when needed. The lamp was missing the button to turn it on & the owner was quick to get one. There was no TV remote & the owners son came by with a brand new one & programmed it. There are only a few channels available. The motel is off the main highway so is very quiet. It is walking distance to restaurants, stores, sightseeing. It is under new owners from when we last stayed there & upgrading seems to be in progress. The property does not have staff at night. We would like to have at least one staff member there overnight as the motel is not visible from other businesses, homes, etc. -Parking area is well lit. -To check in we had to phone someone to meet us as they were busy off the property. -The room is dark & really needs a central light or higher wattage bulbs/more lamps. Painting the walls white might help. -Deadbolts on the doors would be a good idea as the rooms open to the courtyard. -The floor tiles were lifting & need replacing. -The bathroom was clean but the shower drain needs cleaning as it is very slow to drain, the water builds up in the bottom. -The bathroom door & frame need a good cleaning. This may be due to the fact that it is difficult to open so needs to be touched in more places than the handle. -There was coffee & tea available but no whitener, sugar nor anything to stir with so we could not use the drinks. We did not realize this until after the owners had left the property & didn't want to phone again.

It was a reasonably priced place to stay for a night. Good value for money.

This motel is very run down and aged. The beds were on frames with wheels and the box spring was considerably older than me. I could handle the aged building and decor if they simply updated the furniture. It looked generally clean overall and the staff were efficient and friendly however just based on age of property and decor I wouldn’t stay again.

Great little Motel!

Close to early opening cafes. Close to highway. As advertised, but, to my mind, a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, a good experience and I would stay again.

Friendly and convenient with good access to the town.

I liked that it had a separate kitchen- living room, a separate bedrooom with ajoining bath.

Very quiet, calm place and area around the property. I needed a place to stay for a few days and this place fit the bill. It was cost effective, quiet, clean and had what I needed. Beds are definitely not the best. Old metal frame on wheels that rolls around at the slightest movement, but comfortable. I would stay here again if needed.

It was late and most places were booked up. We found this place and booked it online. It was passed checkin time but we called the owner and she came out just to let us in. She showed us to our suite which was a newly built 2 bedroom suite with in suite laundry, a full kitchen, and living room.

Cyclists can keep their bike in their room. Friendly staff.
