This hotel in a very strategic location. Near Gion, kiyomizudera. Near gojozaka station. The room spacious, clean and have microwave, washing machine and have a nice bathtub. I definitely want to stay in this hotel again if I go to Kyoto.

Once you reach the Gojozaka bus stop (in front of the marat family), you have to walk for about 5 minutes to the guest house. Even though the map is right next to it (maybe wrong or what) the system is self check-in, when we arrived it was already night, so there was no one on standby at the receptionist and there were instructions on how to get the room key. Easy and not long. Just initially got confused, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a guide on how to turn on the air conditioner or heater in the bathroom, in English the check out is also just enter the key into the box that says "check out"

I stayed at Orient Gojozaka together with my family, we booked rooms for three people and got spacious rooms and enough mattresses for five or more people. all complete bathroom equipment, hair dryer, air conditioning, computer / TV, washing machine, stove, heating and the bathroom works properly. access to the bus stop is very easy, just walk 2-3 minutes to reach the bus stop. convenient stores such as family mart, seven eleven, and lawson are everywhere. most importantly, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean, so staying at orient gojozaka feels very comfortable.

This hotel is so good! It’s like an apartment of your own, so no daily cleaning service. But the facilities inside the room are amazing! There are PC, stove, microwave, washing machine, dryer for cloth (inside the bathroom), bathtub with TV!, shower, like everything you need in your home is there! 😭😭😭 so amazing I wash my clothes everyday there 😂👍🏻 But you know Japanese hotels usually provide you with pyjamas, not this one so bring yours! Location is soooo near with bus 216 stop. It costs 210 yen flat for that bus route. And so near Kiyomizudera temple & many kimono rental place.

The rooms are exactly like the photos are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Of course I will stay again.

Orient Gojozaka is located very conveniently within walking distance to Kiyomizu-dera and Gion district, which are among most popular attractions in Kyoto. Room is basic, however is equipped with useful amenities like kitchen ans laundry. Reception is not 24-hours, but with clear instruction for self-checkin, that wasn't a problem. The guesthouse is able to accept Yamato luggage delivery both for sending and receiving on behalf of guest, so that is very helpful. Overall Orient Gojozaka is highly recommended.

Comfortable, friendly staff, near to bus stop, but quite far from subway station, just walk to kiyozumi-dera temple...nice place.
