Lovely hotel in center Locarno city. 7 minutes from train station and 3 minutes from piazza Grande. The staff gave me a wonderful heartwarming welcoming, upgraded me and organized a happy hour bottle with cooler and glass. The breakfast area is ver relaxing and staff very helpful and friendly. 3 minutes walk from the lake, a restaurant by hotel entrance, shops, restaurants and sightseeing all close by. Ask for the Locarno city tourist card (free) and get discounts.

Very nice and clean, close to everything!

No one at reception when I got there at about 5pm. Rang the number as per the signage but got a recording. Waited a long time until a staff from the adjacent restaurant went to get a hotel staff.

Very clean and comfortable! The room was bigger than I thought. All necessary facitities were provided within the room. The location was not too far from the main station. It was easy to wondering around for chilling, shopping, finding some food & ice cream. Very friendly and super kind staff. Ps. I met the hotel's owner when I checked-in! She was a super cute cat :)

Excellent location near city center and lake, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, on-site parking. This has been our hotel of choice for several years when we visit Locarno, and we have never been disappointed.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at City Hotel Locarno. Room was well equipped, modern and perfectly clean. Bed was comfortable and rather big. Service was great with all staff being super friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and if in Locarno, we'd definitely come back.

This is a very friendly hotel located in the heart of beautiful Locarno. I enjoyed my stay very much and I slept very well. Beautiful, new, clean and quiet room with a comfortable bed. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and I had a great weekend. Love to come back. Thank you.
