Great place to stay ....and a good breakfast

Lovely place to spend a night or two to get to know Swellendam and its beautiful surroundings.

Excellent service

Space was generous & clean. Good value and very hospitable owner was super friendly even with our late check-in. Will definitely visit again.

The backyard and pool area were beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant beside the guesthouse was delicious.

Very nice find… beautiful stay save for no AC … ceiling fan but still extremely hot even with windows open. I am normally cold. And this room was really hot! Still a great place for sleeping and relaxing. Breakfast was definitely excellent. I’d stay again.

The room was spotless with everything we needed. The staff were very friendly, giving us plenty of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The facilities were great, nice pool and garden with plenty of space to relax.

We stayed here for one night. Everything was excellent. Beautiful location, very nice owners. We were made very welcome. Wonderful breakfast.

The rooms are all arranged around the pool and a lovely yard. The owners and the staff are all fantastic. The room was compact but very clean and well-appointed. A little far from the center of town but there are numerous dining options within a five minute walk. Plan ahead on Sunday since most everything is closed.

A simple hotel, our one night stay here was excellent. The rooms are set in gardens round a pool. There is a guest fridge and an honesty bar. We had the two garden rooms which are probably the best, they shared a partly covered terrace with a benches and tables. The cooked breakfast was delicious, a good choice of fruit, cereal and bacon, eggs etc. It is not a fancy hotel but a friendly guest house to which we would return.

This is a lovely and very friendly guest house. The rooms had everything required of them to make your stay simple and enjoyable. The pool and gardens are spectacular and spotlessly clean. We only stayed on night and wish it were more. Breakfast was awesome. Owners soooooo helpful.

The property was beautifully decorated and maintained. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. Swellendam is an unusual but interesting little town with a good selection of restaurants. The nearby Bontebok Nature Reserve is well worth a visit.

Very comfortable lodge. Staff were welcoming and setup is great with indoor and outdoor dining areas, small pool with surrounding recliners and lovely garden / yard area. Nice restaurant right next door with others in the surrounding area. All facilities available and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was comprehensive with all you could want available. Plenty of parking and lodge is in a quiet area without much foot traffic at all.
