This hotel is located in a busy city, but you would never know this hotel is definitely a hidden jam and a five star standard for Costa Rica and 4 star to Canadian standards. Thank you for a great day.

Villa del Sol Boutique Hotel is a little taste of heaven. It's beautiful, quiet & peaceful, all in it's own immaculate garden/pool environment and only 1 block from the swimmer friendly beach/bay. The staff are very helpful and polite and the tasty breakfast is served in a relaxing and welcoming dining room. I loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Limited breakfast was the only food option. No restaurant, no snack bar, no drinks available. Room was just a room, nothing special. Beach was a block away. Uber was cheap but a definite must. Staff was very nice. Pool needed cleaning. If you like a hard bed, you’ll love it!

The staff were very welcoming from start to finish. We loved that the beach was only a 3 minute walk from the property and that the pool was well maintained. Rooms were clean and peaceful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. We rented a car, but the downtown area was only a 10 minute walk from us with many dining options nearby. This was a great start to our trip!

Villa Del Sol was the perfect place to unwind—peaceful and relaxing, yet ideally located just steps from great restaurants and the beach. The grounds and pools are beautifully maintained, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. A special thank you to the staff for their genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality.

This little taste of heaven is so relaxing and welcoming with it's garden like yard, pool and accommodations...and only 1 block from the beautiful and swimmer friendly Playas del Coco. If you want a secure and relaxing refuge without the hustle and bustle of a large hotel with tons of people, this is for you. It is slightly removed from the main shopping area of PdC but walkable with several restaurants within 10 minutes walk. I would definitely go back to Villa del Sol Boutique Hotel.

The room was clean and A/C worked great, and although the bathrooms are a bit cramped and outdated, they worked well for us. They have gated parking. The beach was a quick 4-5 minute walk away which was so nice, and you can easily take a path all the way to downtown. The pool was nice, though a bit warm for the weather! We were able to see monkeys jumping around the trees from the pool. Breakfast was EXCELLENT and staff was so kind! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful landscaped grounds, made if feel like you were in a jungle resort. All kinds of creatures with howler monkeys in trees just off out balcony the highlight. Great breakfast and the staff were amazing. Great pool as well. 1 block from the beautiful beach with great walking along the ocean to Playa del Coco.

Cool AC, room with everything kitchen wise, no iron though, they have communal hair dryers. Provided pool towels and beach chairs, also have an area outside room with two chairs. Pool was clean, daily breakfast for $10 has a variety ends at 9am though. Staff was very friendly and responsive, allowed late checkout. Elizabeth was very friendly and helped with booking stuff.

We loved the property, the pool and the proximity to the beach!
