The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The entrance stunk bad like sewage and the corridors looked like something from a prison. Really creepy. The room istelf was good and bed really comfy with a lovely firm pillow. The bathroom facilities were ok. Shower could definitely have been cleaned better and the tap for the overhead shower wasnt working. Probably wouldnt return but for a cheap overnight stay, it was as you would expect.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room is in need of updating, and some of the electrical sockets were not working. Breakfast was good.

Great location a short walk from the old walled city and marina. Hotel is an updated modern facility.

The staff was great especially Adrianna…she helped so much and was so sweet !!! The rooms are small but pleasant. Great location, close to water and all activities!!!

The hotel was ok for a one night stand however when we checked into our room the aircon was making extremly loud noises. They came to check it and were on the phone with someone to fix it for ages however it didn't help. We asked if we could be moved to another room however they said they were fully booked. They said we could wait for the manager however with it being our only day in Faro we wanted to go out but would have expected the manager to leave us a note or proactively provide some kind of compensation. Disappointing that it was just ignored.

We didn't purchase any drink at the hotel, so the Expedia benefit/perk is lost while staying here unless you drink. Except breakfast, we dined out; breakfast was very limited in comparison to other hotels. Coffee machine was out of milk on the first morning and jams ran out on second morning; staff appeared not to be checking. Reception staff were pleasant. Room was spacious and airy. Hotel extremely close to old town and easily walkable across the city.

Great effort by the team to make something different, well done

Lovely hotel with lovely local restaurants on its doorstep. The rooms are well appointed most have an outside balcony area. The rooftop terrace is perfect to chill out and the bar there was an extra surprise Bruno the barman was very helpful and gave us lots of local tips.

A boutique hotel with an outstanding staff. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast could use a little more variety. The hotel is walking distance from most major sites. Restaurants are numerous throughout the area, all within walking distance.

We spent a while looking through the various hotels in the Faro area before we booked Faro Boutique due to its location and rooftop terrace. The location is great for the marina, Old Town and central area, Faro is an easily walkable city. Our room was quite small and the balcony was very small. The red decor was interesting - felt a bit outdated. The breakfast area was also small and the continental breakfast was average at best with not much variety on a daily basis. The biggest negative for us was that the rooftop terrace was closed for cleaning during our stay. We had picked this Hotel for the terrace and went up there prepared to enjoy the views one afternoon to find it being jetwashed. No-one on reception had advised us of this at any point when we checked in. It would have been courteous to have been made aware beforehand. If you are looking for a reasonably priced stay in Faro, this is a good hotel to choose.
